WPT Carlos vs Morrinson
 

I was waching the WPT yestarday, and I saw Carlos Mortensen with his Assistant. I remeber her from de Lady's event when Cece make the final table. She was their assistant. Now she is Carlos's lover [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]
Carlos is a good player, but he is a VERY GROSS person.
Why good gusys like Kik Morrison, Ivey, Juanda don't win?..

mortensen's personal choices are no concern of mine, however i was definitely pulling for morrison to win as this was actually taking place.

Onto something more intresting. DN was staking morrison in this tourny and I believe he had 50% of the action. erik lindgren was staking Carlos Mortenson although I dont know what piece he had of his action. Considering that Lindgren and DN are good friends, do you think some kind of chop was made. With the blinds being as high they were......Also Carlos and Morrison seemed pretty cavalier considering the bad beats taken and the money at risk. Made me think that they chopped 1st and 2nd. discuss.

I followed it very closely online and I've never seen a tourney that looked LESS like a chop. The blinds were so huge they could've easily got it all in at any point but from what I remember, for the most part they played VERY cagey, with lots of limping and keeping the pot small HU.

And OP, yr an idiot. Carlos is a fantastic player and from all accounts a very nice guy.

How VERY GROSS. Personally, I can't imagine anything more VERY GROSS. Such VERY GROSS people should all be banished to their own island in the Golden Triangle, Isola Molto Lorda. That way the VERY GROSS will only associate with the VERY GROSS and not with HIGHLY CIVILIZED.

I have to say, I don't understand why somebody with out knowledge can write this bull sh#t. I belive this is a big lie. Carlos is a HONEST man, as player with INTEGRITY.
Carlos and Cece they allwais look like they are in LOVE!

Hmm, I didn't see him with his assistant, but I'll take your word for it. His ex-wife, I thought, was pretty attractive so Carlos knows how to get the ladies apparently. Outside of any of that stuff, I thought he played really well and stayed composed in spite of some frustrating situations. The episode was definitely one of the best I've seen in a while.

Wow! I never posted anything before but I have to after I read this LIE!!!!.... Mortensen does not look like a cheater. And I believe he's still married with Cece. I believe they are working in their marriage. Mortensen's wife's is so HOT! And you an absolute Moron if you think he's going to leave he's BEAUTIFUL wife for that old and ugly woman that showed up at the WPT. You don't have a clue whatsoever. I bet $10K that Carlos is a LOYAL man. I'm completely sure the story about the assistant is not true.
Besides, I understand why Mortensen won vs Morrison.

Morrison played very, very bad against Mortensen, He doubled up when he has over $26 Millions and Carlos had $4 Millions left in chips. I believed the blinds was the $100k/ 200K.

Why did Morrison gambled like that? Call with K-6?.. Bad, bad call...

Kirk is nice guy, but he made a bad call, and also a bad comment when he asked Carlos in the break if he can date Cece. After that comment Carlos got pissed and wanted to kick his ass.
