90 bucks for a mouse seems kinda steep, but it looks like it could help with carpal tunnel/repetitive stress injuries.

Also, some discussion about the mouse: http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poke...p/t104272.html

Those mouses are great for Limit games if you want to sit back from the PC or laptop. I've had one for a few years for Champ Manager.

Thanks for the info. I saw it on the commercial and was wondering about it too. (But too lazy to Google it myself.)

Of course, I was thinking if it has the FCP logo on it, it should be half price not cost four times as much!

What's up with the cheesy guitar music playing in the background of his commercial?

Re: DN\'s mouse

I had one of these years ago. Cost me £15. Thought they were rubbish. I found it horrible to use. But I hate using the pad on a laptop too, so if you don't mind using that, you'll probably like it.

Sorry I was being sarcastic, I got the Amazon model, aren't they exactly the same except for that stupid FCP logo? Anyway Canadian shipping cost more than the product, wtf

oh... i actually thought u had a DN blowup doll. lol. there seem to be different models of the mouse on amazon. There is a usb and something else. my mouse right now is USB so i got this one

http://www.amazon.com/ONE-FINGER-MOUSE-U...0612&sr=8-1

i kinda have a feeling that its gonna suck but i guess its worth a try for only $20

Re: DN\'s mouse

I have had one of these for about a year. I have not found a better alternative for playing when you want to lounge around with the laptop. If you like to enter a lot of chat, forget about this thing, you'd have to put in down everytime. But for those long MTT's, this thing is golden. Also, use your middle finger for the trigger(and the FCP pricetag). 20 bucks at the most, check the auction sites.

peace

My Fellowes Microtrac just arrived and I must say I have had some pain in my wrist and this thing is 100% comfortable, first impression is this thing is great. If this thing had a scroll wheel I would never take it off (except to type obv).

cwar 08-08-2007 02:53 PM

Re: DN\'s mouse

I take that back the third button is a wheel, sickness.

I also had one of these and didn't really enjoy it. I paid $20 and maybe I got a garbage unit. I actually felt like I was contorting my hand more to use the thumb-ball simultaneous with the trigger button.

It's been driving me nuts trying to remember what it is... it's a lift of "My Own Worst Enemy" by Lit, I believe. Not that actual song, they had somebody record something remarkably similar.

Re: DN\'s mouse

got my fellowes and been playing with it. its not as comfortable as i would have imagined. it seems it would be more comfortable when i hold it backwards. im using an invert mouse AHK to accomplish that but clicking is awkward then even if i switch primary mouse buttons in control panel so i can use the button on top.

yea. i need to be using my fingers without some device attached to it, like for poking at the bubbler and using the lighter, and cheeitos

So I have to admit I opened up this thread thinking someone was going to post about DN's mouse, hamster, or other kind of furry rodent that he uses for recreational activities. Guess not.

XxGeneralxX 08-15-2007 05:23 PM

Re: DN\'s mouse

I just got mine a few days ago. I give it a B. it is very cheaply made. The ball you use to conrol the mouse could have been made much better. I have been 4-tabling w/ it using AHK very easily so it works for me. If it were like $50-$100 id be pissed right now but I only payed $20 so im satisfied.

Its great for laying down on the laptop and playing... it blows the pad out of the water

greg nice 08-15-2007 08:09 PM

Re: DN\'s mouse

it just does not balance well in your hand and therefore not much leverage to hit the trigger.

hold it backwards (without trigger obv) and see how much better it feels. i dont get why they didnt make it like this

ok finally got my fish mouse

to compare it with the Fellowes micro trac ..

same shoddy build as the fellowes. i ordered off ebay and it shipped from china heh. the ball's size and movement is equivalent (ie: no logitech by any means) . its smaller than you might imagine from the pictures, probably the length of a big ipod.

however, its WAY more comfortable than the fellowes. its like holding a remote with two trigger buttons underneath. that alone makes it preferable
