answer these questions first:
why did you call? what did you hope to accomplish? and more precisely, how would you react to these turn cards? 2h 6h 6s Ah |

Anyway, I don't like the call here, there are way too many cards that will be bad for us on the turn, I'd either fold or raise here, and more times than not I think I fold this. |
Re: is it ok to call 1 bet here? stars 10
No. You're drawing to 4 outs, none of them the nuts.
|
Re: is it ok to call 1 bet here? stars 10
well, mostly I was just picking random cards that are either blank or pretty good/bad, depending on the view :P
it just looks awfully like a "mmmh lets call" without any consideration as to what might come on the turn |
Re: is it ok to call 1 bet here? stars 10
what about the 7s on the turn
|
Re: is it ok to call 1 bet here? stars 10
Really let it go. You play PP for set value, when you try to do more than that, you end up losing a lot.

Re: is it ok to call 1 bet here? stars 10
had the blinds bet i fold but i felt mp could have had a wide range (many which i beat) and i felt folding may have been too weak tight , i think my position is the biggest problem . i was more concerned the blinds had a hand this board hit hard (thats why i checked-fear of c-rai). but i think in retro this was a spew. thats why i posted it to see if u guys agreed

Re: is it ok to call 1 bet here? stars 10
What range of hands are you beating that you have odds enough to call here?
|
Re: is it ok to call 1 bet here? stars 10
low pp 2big cards some Axs what limps in mp? a medium suited connector is hand i fear here.
|
Re: is it ok to call 1 bet here? stars 10
Are you beating 1/3 of his range? Will you be beating 1/3 of his range with ANY cards to come on the turn and river?
Seriously, this is a fold. |
Re: is it ok to call 1 bet here? stars 10
Hmmm the best play here is to check/fold IMO. Check/calling while adding value to your hand is going to get expensive. Meanwhile, 66 can't really tolerate most of the possible turn cards. For me this is one of those hands where you need to have figured out a plan before you call here. Sometimes thinking your way thru to the river will help you decide what to do on the flop.
FWIW does anybody like the 37bbs deep limp from UTG here? |
Re: is it ok to call 1 bet here? stars 10
I think the limp is ok if the table is passive and he could expect to get in cheap often, the other stacks are all fairly deep. otherwise Id fold. Probably fairly close either way.

Re: is it ok to call 1 bet here? stars 10
I don't mind the limp.

Re: is it ok to call 1 bet here? stars 10
i agree the problem is not that im ahead now its how will i feel about my hand on the turn. i probably lead if it comes lo but i agree its a spew.
fyi :i hit a gut shot and stacked him but its still bad |
