Before july started I had the feeling this was gonna be a difficult month. I was running pretty hot from april-june so then you know variance is gonna come for you. I dropped 75k on july 1st and went on a 750bb downswing (including last days of june and vegas).

beat: played 92k hands
beat: no rakeback

I live with this guy in the same house and can confirm he plays ALOT. I try to convince him to take a break now and then but I usually get a response like "thats a [censored] waste of time". However, this extreme form of discipline that I lack, has shipped this guy (rakeback or not) LOTS OF MONIES the past couple months, while I'm still grinding out teh meaningless stakes.

Conclusion: This man ladies and gentlemen, is a moneyrobot

Dangeresque 08-01-2007 10:22 AM

Re: Tough month

A money robot would get rakeback and a free $15K a month.

FPPs which work out to... I forget who figured it out, but 18% or something for people who play that many hands.

Re: Tough month

Alot of people find it hard to believe one can play that many hands of LHE in a month. I agree 92k is alot, but it's vacation and the weather is bad here in Amsterdam so I figured lets play alot and make some money

Also, I played 204 hours, that is like 46hours a week. I know alot of people that make much more hours.

OP, something the same cost as no rakeback and more fun would be getting rakeback, buying a Bentley with the money and just driving it into the ocean. Just a thought.

Something is not adding up here, in 222k hands that I have played in the stars 100/200 6 max game I paid just under 65k in rake.

pp262 08-01-2007 09:31 PM

Re: Tough month

OP probably had more 2-3 handed in there thus increasing the average rake/hand.
