100 * 1.2 = 120 cost $100 to bet on penguin pays $120 if you win

If you put 100 dollars on penguin you would receive 120 if you won.

If you put 100 dollars on carrot you would receive whatever that gay ratio comes out to be. My guesstimate in my head is like low 80's like 83 or something.

Of course, however what I want doesn't matter. We just need to find what the both of us feel is fair. 1.5:1 seems low to me. 3:1 I would guess is too high.

In America, 64 (technically 65 but w/e) college basketball teams play a single elimination tournament starting in March. The tournament in characterized by its unpredictability. Hence the March Madness. People bet trying to make the most perfect bracket that matches the tournament
