PartyPoker = best?
Many says that partypoker has the best games because the players are so bad, is that true?
Or are there any other site that has worse players. Ongame, full tilt , ultimate bet,?? |
Re: PartyPoker = best?

Re: PartyPoker = best?
I assume that you think americans are bad players so the players on partypoker are not to bad now?
|
Re: PartyPoker = best?
Are there worse players at Full Tilt?
|
Re: PartyPoker = best?
only true for the higher stakes
|
Re: PartyPoker = best?

Far fewer players = far fewer bad players. The bigger the pool the more likely bad players will play, and the US is the most populous country in the world with extensive internet access. Now maybe in 5 or 10 years India and China will have a high percentage of people with fast internet connections, but until that happens, the US will be the biggest fish tank in the world. |

Re: PartyPoker = best?
Playing on a site that allows Americans is a very stupid move if you can do otherwise. The reason for this is NOT that Americans are better players, but that nearly all the American fish stopped playing online entirely when the UIGEA was passed, whereas all the solid players (e.g. 2+2ers) simply switched sites.
This is the reason why sites that allow Americans are so much tougher. |

[ QUOTE ] no Americans @ party....so what do you think? [/ QUOTE ] Don't know if you mean americans are good or bad [/ QUOTE ] Neither. Just that the good American players are more likely to go through the hassles required to gamble online while the American fishies are more likely less hardcore and play offline. The UIGEA effect. Edit added: Looks like DMoogle posted faster than me to answer the question. |
Re: PartyPoker = best?
I stopped playing on Party when my "unmentionable" got pulled.
|
Re: PartyPoker = best?
Sigh.
Another thread of posters who haven't been able to play at party post ban, but assume that the site remained unchanged when it lost half of its customers. Reality check: There is now very little difference in the softness of low stakes NL cash games of Party, and the American sites. I can't speak for higher limits. Sng's are softer at Party though. |

[/ QUOTE ] The low limit ($0.50/$1 & $1/$2) Party games are incredibly nitty - table average of 16% are the norm in Full ring games. I choose to play Full Tilt as the games are genuinely better (and for another obvious reason). |

Re: PartyPoker = best?
Players from Burundi are at present, quite rightly, the most feared in online poker.
