not too much history, I physically havent played with him a lot, he has never caught me with a bluff in this spot but we havent played that much.

I mainly did it cus "usually" I'm the only one who can show up with a flush.

Wtf are you floating OOP on the flop for if you won't lead that turn? There is no better turn to lead and no better lead than that turn, namsayin?

pretty sure he calls the turn 100% with Ax, and combo hands including 1 heart, and it def makes up a huge protion of his range.
If I made a move on the turn, (yes this is a good turn) I'd C/R it I think.

What are we putting Elky on? 888 would be the hand I would be most worried about him showing up with here.. idk I actually think this is kind of sexy.

basically here's the thing; that flop just doesn't hit him very much. it's not really a flop where he can play back at you light, either.

u have six high and a gutter. your hand is crap obv and i feel its worth taking a shot on this "dry" of a flop. trying to steal the hand later is going to more tricky and probably cost more (like potentially your whole stack as you 3-bet the river. not saying river play is bad, it's ballsy as hell and might work).

I like this. You wont ck/call the flop and lead the turn when u hit ur flush, right?

At the river you make a bluff/value inducing bet on the river which he falls for and now just shove ur supposed flush to valuetown.

i like it. i dont think elky is ever checking behind the turn with a flush, he probably carries on betting for value/protection. Even with the nut flush i think he carries on betting.

his line looks alot like one for pot control, maybe with like AJ or AQ with the J/Q of hearts or something. When you check to him on the river he probably thinks (rightly so) that he can value bet his one pair type hand.

But when you checkraise he will probably feel his one pair hand is no good.

RR or fold PF, generally.

C/r flop, generally.

I don't mind the rare OOP float, but I'd most definitely bet the turn. You say he won't fold Ax... but you have 6 high, and I'm sure he'll fold, say, K high.

As played, river seems pretty sexy, he probably almost never checks the turn with a flush, and you can still easily rep it.

Uhhh u cant do this river, because of what you did on the flop.....If you bet the flop this would be a lot better, Elky likes to make crazy calls also, so i dont think hes even folding an ace here.

I think your shove is a bit more convincing if you bet less on river. But not a huge difference. This is a sick play though. FWIW I don't mind how you played flop/turn, but I would usually go for the river c/r or bet 180ish to get him off of smaller pairs or sometimes crap Ax hands.
