Re: AQ, so basic
fix your hh
minraising is terrible raise to ~270 |
Re: AQ, so basic
I agree minraising is bad, that's why I posted it... I thought raising to 3 times was bad too... never really considered anything in between

Re: AQ, so basic
I think I just shove this.

Re: AQ, so basic
Id either raise 250-300 or just push. Not sure which is better. But id prolly lean towards a push here with your stack.

Re: AQ, so basic
although open shoving 14bbs definitely deviates from the norm (and people will prob berate me for this), i dont think open shoving is terrible if you dont want to play aqo oop in a raised pot.

Re: AQ, so basic
would you really shove this? you have 13 BB and four people left to act behind you. Wouldn't you raise like 2.5x and fold to a shove from one of the big stacks?

Re: AQ, so basic
shove pf

shove pf [/ QUOTE ] although you dont often hear people say open shove 14 bbs i think this is the best line |
Re: AQ, so basic
shove looks good

Re: AQ, so basic
I hate these spots. raising leaves you with an awkward stack to c-bet the flop with if you miss it, which it is likely you will. folding seems too passive. shoving here is your best option although it sucks with so many left to act behind you.

Re: AQ, so basic
#1...make sure you use 2+2 setting on the converter
#2...put the buy-in in your subject #3...Next to limping the minraise was the worst thing you could do, folding would be better. Any reads on any of the players left to act? You got all kinds of stack sizes coming up, so I'd probably pop it up to 250 and call a shove from shorty or a loose villian with the big stacks, and fold to everyone else. Edit: Don't mean to sound harsh or nitpicky, but anything you can add info wise helps with getting good feedback, and it's also considered "good form" to title your threads with the buy-in. One other thought, if you last played 10 months ago and have come back at the same buy-in as you played then, you're going to probably find the competition a lot stiffer than when you left. Just FYI, check the FAQ, the expected ROI's at all levels have been revised downward. |
