I've been to Hawaii five times and I'll go there before I go back to Mexico any day of the week. Maybe I'm missing out on something, but what about Mexico makes you pick that over Hawaii?

Hawaii more or less sucks except for the big pelagics, but Mexico can def. compete and does offer fishing for some big game.

Hawaii has no terestrial wildlife. Period. Except for a few feral pigs.

Hawaii has no good Mexican food.

Hawaii's all the same. Mexico has Baja, the Caribbean, the mainland part, it's huge there's something for everyone.

Mexico has cenotes.

Mexico has pyramids.

You can drive for more than 5 minutes in Mexico without running into the [censored] ocean.

Hawaii is one of the least species diverse tropical destination. It is fauna poor and barren. If you've been to the real tropics you know what I mean.

Now don't get me wrong. Hawaii is way fun for some cushy rest and relaxation, but if you want to do stuff and see stuff Mexico wins eeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

cenotes are cool, but the problem is you are in mexico (cozumel is awesome, puerto vallarta is not, and one of my favorite places to golf is a 2 hours drive from carlsbad into mexico, i just hate being surrounded by mexicans)

what do you want from me, ive been to africa and europe also, if i had to pick between spam eating islanders who are AMERICAN MADE BABY, and mexico with its [censored] infrastructure bad cars and questionable water, its hawaii and its not even close, plus i do love the geology of that place.

but i'm used to bad infrastructure, and biology > geology for me... i also like to practice my spanish and have an adventure when i'm on vacation

i get the whole adventure thing, and you are correct that mexico is more interesting then hawaii, but when im on family vacations i like to run down girls from different states drink lava flows and charge a bunch of [censored] to my room, i also hate mexicans and geology > biology ZINGNGGG

Besides my wife getting her period, cenotes were the greatest thing about my honeymoon in Mexico. Truly one thing everyone needs to do before they die is swim in a cenote.
