Just got this email this morning...


Dear PowPowMeow,



Thank you for your communication regarding the accounts that you suspected to be playing multiple entries by the same player in our Tournaments.



These accounts (all associated with account ZeeJustin) had already been flagged by our system as originating from the same IP/System and we have now concluded our investigation.



A total of six accounts, all with different biographical information, were making multiple entries into the same tournament from the same IP/system.



This is in direct violation of our Terms and Conditions and the six accounts have been permanently closed and the player barred from our site. We have placed a substantial amount of money, from all the accounts, on hold. Any of the confiscated money found to be directly related to a particular player or tournament through means of cheating, will be redistributed accordingly.



We make every reasonable effort to protect the integrity of our games and have very recently introduced some technical enhancements in an attempt to prevent such scenarios. These improvements are ongoing and as you can appreciate, have to take into account the interests of genuine players who share internet connections and access points.



Thank you for taking the time to report this matter and for being as passionate as we are about integrity.

if you don't mind, what exactly caused you to suspect he has multiple accts? honestly, i just wish someone "in the know" would just expose everyone. its pretty f'd up.

It is legit, ZJ was asked to leave Party Poker. He asked me not to tell anyone and I've respected his wishes. However, now it's out in the open due to this email.

And yes, Mike O'Malley runs Party Poker.

on another note, very good tournament player SamENole has his bodog account frozen because he had JJprodigy take over for him in a tournament once and they saw he was connected to Jj's Ip

i wonder what other sites have banned Jjprodigy? because i know in UB's ToC it says you can be banned if you have been banned from other sites

Yes, if you read the above email, his funds were taken. I'm not sure if he'll be able to get any back.

also, n8, you're obviously friends w/ a lot of these players. are there other cases of accts being closed down? if you don't want to name names, thats fine. maybe a simple yes/no?

Money comes and goes. Reputation you lose, and it is almost impossible to regain. These two instances has shown/ will show that clearly. That's whats great about 2 of the most famous players being caught for this and outed. Other players will be scared of doing the same, not for losing money, but for the fear of losing their reputation.

Hopefully everyone who has suspicion will report now, since it is now the sites has focus on this, and thereby it is now it is easiest to catch the cheaters.

anybody else thinking that Party Poker might be the place to be? I've always been a huge Stars fan, but if I feel Party is going to be more secure, i may consider the switch.

It's just a shame that they are not catching these cheaters on their own, they seem to be only responding when someone complains.

Kudos to Party, I wonder when are we going to see Stars doing something, I really didn't like the way they handle the El Capitano situation. Looks like Party is the site.

Party has really impressed me, and I suppose everyone else, in the last couple of weeks.

This is going to be the best "war" ever betweein Party and Stars - who catches more high profile cheaters.

Lee reads these forums, he knows how much we respect Party's new hard line against cheaters, he will have to follow as well and probably try to take the lead in the "race".

If you're a famous online pro who multitabled, I'd go underground. The slaughter continues.

Seems pretty standard - I would expect that they want to see if he played at the same table for any of these events with multiple accounts and then confiscate winnings from those tourney's and you can't do that if the account isn't frozen. I'd be shocked if the rest was not returned very quickly.
