Anybody seen my Empire Affiliate Busterstacks

Since the break up of the skins I cannot contact my empire affiliate--Busterstacks. Anyone know how to contact him? He runs a site called 30% land which has been down for about a week. I have no other contact information for him. I have tried Pming him several times and have received no response. I hear he is a very reputable guy and I have never had a previous problem. He has been a great affiliate. Can anyone help?

Bart

i haven't seen him on AIM in a couple days, but I wouldn't worry. He is my affiliate at Empire too, and a buddy of mine. If I see him on AIM soon I will tell him about this thread.

I saw him on my vacation a few days ago when I was in the Caymans. I was enjoying some time on the beach when I saw him on a yacht in the harbor. He had a glass of champagne in one hand and a beautiful woman in his other arm. The conversation was very short:

Me: "Looking good, Busterstacks!"
Him: "Feeling good, sir!"

I was just joking. I probably should have throw a smiley face in there. Just a stupid mistake - no big deal.

Those who have continued to play after the Empire split will receive full payment for October. I will likely not even make my quota for MGR this month, so those that chose to jump ship will forfeit your payments to cover my obligation to my loyal customers. Any remaining funds will be used to cover website costs, employee payments, and referral bonii.

In short: If you bailed, you're SOL. You know who you are.

I assure you this sucks much more for me than it does for you, however my priority is the small group of people who have decided to see this thing through. We all knew this day would come, and it has been shitty for everyone involved. My apologies to everyone, hopefully you can see where I'm coming from. It's been a hell of a ride.

fwiw, the website has been down for me for about a week, since i first emailed you about it.

Im intrigued to see how this works out, and to determine which side im going to be on. Let me know, as i dont.

Also, an apology to the forum for bringing this somewhat private issue to the public forum (even though its still fairly germane) before its a full-fledged affiliate issue. That comes later im guessing.

peace

buster,

1) don't be a thief
2) pay your website costs
3) pay your customers even if your net for the month is 0 dollars.
4) get a job (move home if you have to)

It sucks but it's life. You've been a good affiliate in the past and you've had it on easy street for a long time. Welcome to the real world.

If you dont meet your quota and get your % dropped. Drop the players' % a bit, but still pay them what you can. Why would you think that your loyal costumers will stay with you, when they see other affiliates paying out on schedule? I sure would not stay with someone who screws a large number of their players.

I have to say... when I signed up at Empire, I didn't really shop around for the best %. I went with a site I thought I could trust. This is a good example of why I did so. That extra 3% doesn't mean [censored] if they are going to bail on you when it suits their "needs."

He didn't say that Buster couldn't do what he wants, he said that it was worth finding someone who wasn't a scumbag.

I certainly always replied "Probably not" to any PMs asking if Buster was honest.

Its different because Buster made a commitment to pay these people and now he is shirking that commitment.

LOL wtf? Wow you sure make a lot of sense. I believe most affiliate agreements between the affiliate and the player is that the affiliate will pay an x% amount of the rakeback to the player. There is no agreement that the player must stay with that affiliate forever.

What you're saying by siding with buster and saying he can do whatever he wants is the same as saying that a bank can suddenly refuse to pay interest to a customer who has a term deposit if the customer starts up business with another bank. Great logic!

Was part of the agreement that if they don't play x amount of hands, they receive zero payment? If that was agreed upon, then of course that's a different story.

Obviously that is true. But that doesn't mean he's not a scumbag, and I'm still happy I'm not doing business with him.
