Tropicana Next weekend (7/13-7/16)
 

I will be in AC this friday-monday, staying at the trop. I'll be playing mainly pink chip+ maybe a tourney or two. I'll probably be at the borg at some point, probably 6/12 or 10/20. , maybe a tourney there. I'm the fat guy, probably in a Sabres jersey (Vanek 26 red/black or a blank old school white ) with my ipod. If you're gonna be there, give me a sup bro.

Sup bro? I might be there on Sunday- I usually play the pink chips. Are there any decent tournies in AC on Sundays? I could get down with anything over $100 buyin, but I don't know of anything.

I'll be there from the 13th or 14th till the 20th (beach house holla!) and I really want a pink chip game going while I'm there.

Good playing with you friday night. Did you make it Saturday? I got yanked from the table early (9 PM) because my friends wanted to go to Carmines.

Wow, so the one thing that is certain is that I won't be playing the pink chip game this weekend. Good to know.

I was there late Saturday night, quiet guy in the three seat. Dropped a rack by having people get there on the river constantly. At least they were nice enough to either check to me so I could check or they just checked behind when they hit their hands.

The nitty Greek guy in the 5 seat was pretty entertaining though, saying he used to call Phil Ivey "Goofy" when they played seven card stud year ago in the other room. Then his wife saw "Goofy" on TV winning millions of dollars and what's he doing? "I'm playing the pink game hold'em bull--it"

No, I was kind of pissed at the Trop because I was woken up at 4am by a party in the room next to mine and security didn't do much about it. I played the 10/20 at the Taj instead. Got my aces cracked by incredibly bad play there too and lots of other bad luck. Oh well, you can't win them all.

I like playing in goofy, silly, fun 2p2 games like HOSE and drunken 2/4 games. I don't want to sit in a tough pink chip game and have to beat good players all weekend long. I meant no offense to any of the other posters.

LOL. That guy wouldn't shut up about how great the 10-20-30 stud game used to be and how his full house got cracked by quads. I was in the 4 seat for a bit and he gnawed my ear off while i was there. I flopped a straight vs his flopped two pair and he didn't like that one bit.
