Should I believe the crazed leftists who claim oil is going to run out, or should I believe the crazed leftists who claim we're going to kill the world with global warming caused by oil?

Yes. It's only American Republicans who are denying these issues because they conflict with their own ideologies/sources of campaign funding. In most countries there is no real political debate about whether global warming is real or not, it's accepted as scientific fact by both the 'left' and 'right' alike. This isn't so much 'Socialism vs Conservatism' as 'Science vs Willful Ignorance'.

The only people being fooled are those who think a government that receives millions of dollars per year from the oil industry took its stance on these matters with the interests of the American people at heart.

PS: I think Abe would too 'bummed' by the current state of your country and democracy to worry about us foreigners.

Apparently the CBC has also been taken over by the oil companies. I knew there was some sort of conspiracy going on here, but I figured it was just the socialists trying to expand their already extremely progressed agenda.
