How to deal with this bitter poker player what should i do
MAN
i was playing in our local casino and slow played the nut flush and pushed all in on the river he called i imediately showed my cards saying ive the nuts this charater known as "bad beat" says "oh and thanks by the way for slow rolling" meaning slow playing i guess ok i kept quiet because i know the guy just lost a big enough pot against me but later on ive a big decision to make hes not involved in the hand and asks the dealer to call time he then makes some remarks and when on the river my opponent hits a lucky straight he stands up and points to it OH YA AND SHOUTS IT OUT .normally these guys dont bother me but for some reason i was really pissed off with him i felt like pounding his head in like ive got the long hair thing going myb he thinks im some sort of whimp or hippy but i used do boxing and hardcore sports in short i wud destroy him so do i ignore this and go bck plaaying as normal or calculate some witty remarks to send him off the deep end or option 2 ill be shaving my head go in and scare the life out of him and be nasty at the table give him some of his own medicine or 3 i know where he works and give him a good thumping irish style but one problem i have is that the guys life is miserable he works all week then blows it in the casino playing poker but god id love to bash him over the head advice or opinions about this type of person TOM |

G-day tom. The short answer is that you shouldn't do anything. You tilted the guy. So what that he got jubilant when you lost a hand. ("The enemy of my enemy is my friend" comes to mind.) Get HU with the dude and take him down, then relish the chip spew after doing THAT.
One last suggestion mate... just a bare minimum of punctuation would make your post a lot easier to read. Welcome from a newcomer myself. Have a gut one. |

Assault him with all of the punctuation you don't use when posting. It'll likely leave him commatose.

okay, it's pretty freaking hard to figure out what the hell is happening in this nightmare of a 2 sentence post (he actually did use 1 period in there) but it does appear that he's actually serious about considering some of these options such as:

Even trying to calculate some witty remarks seems kind of dumb to me but whatever. If you are seriously considering the head-shave or beat-him-up-at-work options then seek counseling. Also seek the 'period' and 'enter' keys on your computer. Did these suggestions tilt you and put you on roid-rage again? Do you want to try to track me down now so you can beat me up? If so then this is just further evidence that you have some weird anger-issues. |

i believe he was using the run-on sentence to convey
a style of verbal speech pattern where the talker is so excited or agitated that he doesn't pause. i found the punctuation-less style amusing and communicating effectively the emotional state of the writer. having said that, when some turkey jumps up and rejoices over a bad beat / play by me, i usually say something like: "You know, that really hurt my feelings." A.) It's true and B.) it defuses my own tilt and makes me laugh because: C.) the tilter usually doesn't know how to handle it. D.) The tilter usually follows up with an even dumber remark, like "YOU DONKEY!!" E.) At which point, I'll deadpan, "Wow. That really hurt my feelings, too." F.) At which point, the table is usually totally on my side, which is a good thing. |

Ok i was furious when i wrote my last post hence the lack of ...... to convey my anger at this muppet.Ive shaved my head and will be heading to the local card room on saturday.Man im going to tear this guys balls off i still have have the image of him gloating when i lost a 600e pot on the river to another ok ish player. Im going to start off by shoulder charging him into the chest when hes not looking.Then ill blame him to his face for not looking where hes going.Say something like your some prrick when walking off .Ill taunt him at the table make some coments bout his wife threaten to take things outside.Ill ask him how work is let him know i know.Say shiit like "I hear youve got small balls" actually if the guy ever folds ill shout out "SMALL BALLS" everytime " hes so tight u couldnt fit a pea up his hole" which hes not. HEY SMALL BALLS wheres ur money hey SMALL BALLS u broke oh small balls is playing.Then when the casino closes and we are out side ill put my head up to his grab his balls and squezzze those fucckers till tears come in his eyes.
