100% chance that you misread the hand.

Post the hand history so we can all laugh at you.

Re: party poker giving my money away

i would post the hand truly, but something like a connection problem on pp and would not allow me to open that exact hand. I will find out what the problem was and if the problem was on my end i will tell you.

The H/L games need their own lobby as before. Now you have to check and double check you are in right game. Maybe that was issue.

Get the hand number and request an E-mail, then post it on here so we can all see how stupid either You or Party Poker are...

sent an email 35 minutes ago for that hand, still have not recieved it.

Re: party poker giving my money away

you don't have to ask customer-support to send it to you.

you can just have it send your last 100 hands...and if it was one of the last 100 you played it will be in there for you to see.
it happens automatically.

As mentioned previously, there is a 100% chance that you misread the hand (or that you just don't know the rules of poker)

MicroBob 02-23-2006 03:04 AM

Re: party poker giving my money away

anyway....do you remember your cards, his cards, and the board?

to the best of your recollection go ahead and post that if you think your memory is accurate. it's possible you just don't understand when a pot should be split.
it's actually happened around here before.

Were you disconnected without realising it? That happens sometimes, especially with the new software.

Re: party poker giving my money away

well, get the automated HH of it so we can see it.

since you said it didn't come up there for you then perhaps it was because you were disconnected.
this does seem to be the likely issue since you mentioned that as well.

Sometimes a timeout feels like a disconnect. If this appeared to be a disconnect, but he actually timed out (either because he didn't act in time or he had no DPs left) then his hand would have been folded.

Dig up the hand history from the hard disk, if your hand histories are automatically saved there.

If you ever get disconnected during a hand and then try to retrieve the hand, you'll get an error that you can't open the hand (just like you got). I would bet that when you get the hand history, you'll see you were disconnected during the hand and that's why you lost.

I believe we have a winner. Can only use three of the cards on the board.

You both had 9s full of tens. A kicker doesn't exactly play. I'm confused as to why I'm the first person to point this out in this thread.

It appears everyone is assuming it was an Omaha hand but I read the posts and must have missed that it was Omaha because I don't see where OP said either way. If it was Omaha I would think he would have told us all 4 cards.

SoCalRugger 02-23-2006 02:29 PM

Re: party poker giving my money away

Wait, OP never said if he was playing omaha or holdem. I assumed omaha...

Where's the hand history. We need to see who the moran is here. I'm guessing it's not party. After all, if the OP hasn't been able to figure out how to get the hand history and hasn't posted it here, I think we can assume some things.

I think it's choice "C"...all the jopkers who are laughing at this assuming it's an Omaha hand despite the fact that there were only 2 hole cards for each player.

Some of you either have really bad reading skills, or you didn't bother to read the whole thread.

There have been like 3 people come in with high and mighty comments that are just moronic if you read the thread.

He had two pair and a triple. That beats your one pair and a triple with A kicker. He should have gotten the whole pot. Don't complain to party or they might take your half pot away.

In all seriousness, this is a bit troubling. I started hunting around the 2+2 forums to learn something, but based on the responses in this thread, chances are looking dim!

After reading your response above this one about "two pair and a triple", you need more help than can be provided at 2+2. Move along, please.
