Okay, serious question. How much is the average rate coaches charge at 3-bet.net? Is it in the 150-200 dollar per hour area? If it can't be made public please PM me the rates, cuz i have to fill out the application and stuff

losing players complain about variance more than winning players even if they experience the same 'amount' of variance. agree/disagree?

edit - oh, and also do you think that complaining about variance contributes to why someone is a losing player? (ie. they'd win more if they didn't complain so much)

depends on what limit your playing. but like $150-$200/hour will get u a good coach for 200nl. They tell you all the rates afterwards so just fill out the form then they can work out who's going to coach you later on

I assume by "losing" players you mean marginal/breakeven players, and yes this is true (see Reef/Fgators).

TYTYYTYTYTYT. That's hourly wages right? or 2 hour block sessions?

Re: SSNL POKER [cheese] thread July - Part 1

pretty sure its hourly, this email is prob like 2 weeks old fwiw, so I dont think the rates would have changed in that short time but you never know.

June (only played the last 2 weeks):
Limits range from 50NL through to 1000NL (good old fish hunting), with about 3k hands at 200NL, and about 18k at 100NL.

Re: SSNL POKER [cheese] thread July - Part 1

yes those are hourly rates.

assuming these guys can coach as well as they play (not a guarantee ), i would have to think FWF @ 200/hr is sick.

edit: b/c i cant write a proper sentence. ever.

does anyone listen to the pokerwire.com radio show with Gavin Smith and Joe Sebok? Anyway, I just won the "pick a superhero nickname for Phil Hellmuth contest." ship the $26 tourney token. ship ship mc gipp!

winning entry was Phil "The Behemuth" Hellmuth. (I submitted "The Behemoth" but since it was the inspiration I still win.)

Re: SSNL POKER [cheese] thread July - Part 1

Such a beat, FTP found out I have two accounts (I had registered one a longggggg time ago, hadn't used it in years). For some reason they're only letting me use my old one, which I'm not even sure still has rakeback or not. I lost ALL my player notes and ALL my full tilt points =[. I guess I should be glad they didn't ZeeJustin all my money?

Bought a 50" plasma tv for my new apartment just recently though, very nice imo.

For what it's worth, my old FT name was HaikarA. I'm sure I've sparred with some of you guys before, if anyone has any stats/history on me could you guys tell me what you guys think of me/my play etc? (100NL FTP)
