How you guys handle this type of situations?
UTG = Fish Passive

How you guys handle this type of situations? [/ QUOTE ] well it pretty much never happens so it's fine if you just ignore this type of situation. anyway, worst flop ever and it sucks sosososo bad that UTG played the flop and turn like that because it instantly makes it look like he doesn't have AA (when he donks turn). it actually makes you feel relieved, like, yay he doesn't actually have it. but then SB check/3-bets and UTG caps. if there's a spot to fold, it's here, but i don't think i could do it. i don't think there's anything you can do here but get owned. |

Re: How you guys handle this type of situations?
Man I really try to find a fold but I really couldn't find.
Just one more thing, If I'm playing 1 table 10 handed, what is my share of winning pots? and if I'm playing 4 tables? It change? |
Re: How you guys handle this type of situations?
????? Your "share of winning pots", meaning pot equity, does not change when you play on multiple tables. Pot equity is the percentage of ONE pot you expect to win.
SB has a monster. Cold-called 2 bets on the flop and then check-raised 2 bets on the turn. You had the odds to draw to a full house here (hoping no one else had a better set, which is likely given preflop action). You're beat by the river prolly, but you need to go to showdown with a pot that huge. |
Re: How you guys handle this type of situations?
Can someone please explain UTG's turn donk? He wants to 3-bet or charge a not-so-obvious draw or what?
|

[/ QUOTE ] I mean, the winning share of the table, like if you have 10 people on a table and they all play at the same level they all gona get the same money (in theory), like 10% is my fare share on a 10-handed, if you win 20% you are winning some guys share. But now I understand that my question was stupid |

Re: How you guys handle this type of situations?
It looks like you're against two monsters (or one monster and UTG being retarded with his LRR). Best case scenario, UTG has AK and SB has KQ, so you're live for a winning full house. But I just end up paying off too cause OMG we have a set.

Re: How you guys handle this type of situations?
Max, its not about what percentage of pots u win...its about winning the pots that matter. I could check PT for what %age I win but I wont bother....the thing is, Im playing less pots than the average yogi bear so I expect to win less than 10% but the pots I win will probably be bigger.
whether you play 1 or 4 tables shouldnt make a lick of difference...unless of course, your play degenerates when you multitable....theoretically when you multitable your BB/100 drops but you win more per hour. how does this affect your win %age at the tables....tbd |

The hand turns out that we all have Sets, JJJ TTT and 555
the [censored] [censored] Fish makes me loose a lot =( |

Dont worry, as others have already said, it was difficult for you to get away from your hand and set over set does not happen very often. |
Re: How you guys handle this type of situations?
I can't fold the turn to 2 bets, but I might be able to lay down for the first 2 on the river (live).
I woulda been afraid of KQ at some point if I had even AA. EDIT: I wouldn't fold AA though. |
Re: How you guys handle this type of situations?
i think you played this hand as best you could. Although u could be against higher set, never assume so. It happens too rarely. Looks like someone has broadway. Slow down on turn. call down, hopefuly cheaply. Pot is way too big to fold, even if ur sure ur beat.
|
Re: How you guys handle this type of situations?
I play it the same way you did. If I lose on a hand like this, I just figure I was meant to lose a lot on this hand. I'm not good enough yet to know for sure when my set is beat in a large pot and I would go on tilt if I laid this down and saw one of the fish flip over AJ for a winning hand.
