majority of players especially in donkaments fall in love w/overpairs. You are going to get called waaaay too often to have enough FE to make it profitable. When you get called you only have 6 outs max. If you wanna push AQ as overs push it on a J86r board, not 844dd.

nh but if you looked at his JJ hand where he sucked out before then you should have just shoved flop and he'd snap call. Otherswise, bet 1/2 - 3/4 of his stack on the river that way he'll call with worse and you call easily if he donkshoves.

...or you could open shove the river representing a bluff when that 3rd 7 hit. Because OBVIOUSLY you don't have the 7 bc of your line. he knows this so your bet looks more bluffy than like an overpair/set and he'll call real light. This is one of my favorite lines.
