As played, yea shove it, but I don't like the preflop repop, especially with stacks.

I shove he folds

Next hand I get 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

He raises on Button with around $8k left to $250, I pop it to $1k and he completes

Flop is 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
I lead out for $1500 and he calls
Turn is 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Do I shove here as well ??

[/ QUOTE ]

I think there is more value in checking the turn because I can see him bluffing the turn or river.
The only hands he calls a push with that you beat are a lower pair which is highly unlikely. He can't call a shove with ace hi, because the best he can do is tie.

I like check turn call push
and if he checks the turn c/c a river bet

If has two overs I think its worth the risk at letting him draw to 6 outs because I can see him bluffing if you slow down.

Really? Isn't by far his most likely hand a higher pocket pair? I'd c/f, unless he's visibly steamed, because after the last hand he should known not to try bluffing us here.

"At this time, I was quite middle class wealthy...and had banked near 9 figures"

Pretty certain 9 figures isn't middle class. Nonetheless, good story.

Sorry all I am totally retarded sometimes (well most of the time post brain cancer), I meant high 7 figures (that is a long way from 9 figures, I will change post).

I come from lower middle class background.

Hand 2 for the purpose of this thread I called the turn and called an all in river bet on a 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], he mucked, so I actually won heads up for once but am pretty sure I leak like a penis with snake bites at that genre.

wolffund,

They should make a movie out of your life. No joke.

One of the most fascinating life stories I've read.
wolffund's life story

Even if it's all BS, it should still be a book. The $40 to 3 mil is a little hard to swallow. Then again so is a lot of other stuff.

Re: HU - Live 50/100

without reading responses, i think this hand is grossly misplayed preflop. the decision to 4bet with 33 is poor this deep. also, making the 4bet so large does nothing. a small 4b is just as effective and allows maneuverability postflop.

that said, as you get to the flop you cannot even begin to consider folding and shoving > calling.

EDIT: goddamnit, this is is reference to the first hand.

Are these stories really true?
