free parking?

so i've left my car in an airport parking lot for about a month

stupid drunk decision... i dunno how much it will be... what if i say i lost my ticket, will they know how long i've been there?

I'm flying into that airport tomorrow, ANYWAY my plan is to get my car towed via AAA (its free towing) I get it towed and hopefully that allows me to bypass paying for the parking....? any and all LOGICAL thoughts welcome

Not gonna help. Usually you have to pay the default rate for lost tickets which is like a months fee.

Isn't there a daily/weekly/monthly maximum? I know they don't charge by the hour, especially for long time parkers.

I do believe that if you get it towed, the airport will make the AA guy pay the parking fee which he will add to your bill, either way, you are going to have to pay.

Use crowbar to set off metal loop, get new ticket, pay cheap to get car out.

You could pretend to be a FBI agent and seize the car as evidence.

they most likely are scanning tickets or something, and will know that her license plate had already checked out.

Maybe you can switch your license plates somehow?

They take a photo of your car when you take a ticket at the entrance (and your face in the UK).

I'm not sure if your aware but airports have quite tight security these days.

Re: free parking?

why dont you try and bribe the guy working behind... $40 to get your car out but dont tell him your number plate otherwise if he says no you are screwed

They could be bluffing with the whole license plate thing. Seems way too high-tech to me.
But then again I fly out of the smallest shithole of an airport that you'll ever see.

Havingf license plate reader is extremely common... it all depends how big this airport is as that will parallel their technology
