i play it the same. Good bet sizing btw. Don't worry about monsters there. If he hits his rag kicker on the river, there isnt much you can do about it. You have to get all your money in on this hand the way it played out.

just hope he doesn't spike a T on the river..also TT-AA pays you off like a champion

If you lost this I would seriously consider giving up poker, because loosing a hand when everyone else has folded is very very special....

If hero holds something like KQ or KJ, does that change anything?

guys - he didn't lose this - the OP shows btn folding the river. and OP, you are seeing monsters under the bed...

I don't think much changes with KQ. Things might get slightly uncomfortable with KJ and lower.
