no code - it was invitation only. probably to those who were previous Paradise Poker players. appears to be part of the Cake network which means you can test drive it with your free $20 from Players Only then get rackback thru Cake if you like it

I got the letter......

Emailed about the free WSOP Final Tournament, and my free bucks that did NOT appear instantly -

The reply explained that there was a $50 minimum deposit - of course nowhere in the letter or flyers they sent does it mention a mandatory depsit.....

I hate them already.

They won't get a cent from me.

Can't believe they already lied - typical idiots doing their marketing

not only email list, but snailmail list. i got the above via snail mail, but inside the envelope were a bunch of invites to partys, free tournies etc.

they also have an exact list of your paradise players club points, and a method to get them all back. yipee

$50 depo needed for the free wsop final tourney on the 24th? jeez, they certainly did not say this in the letter. that's a huge omission and i will tell them so when i get rejected. i just sent the email.

It's been 3 days and 1 email later and no "free cash" and no response. I tried the code a few times. It said it had been processed, but shows a zero balance.

To those who got the cash- did you have to deposit $50 to get it or is that just for the "free" trny?

Anyway, thus far I'm not impressed.

I got $20 free sent by e-mail and regular. It took a day or two for it to hit my account.
I talked to live chat about it after I signed up and after waiting like 5 minutes for each reply, he abruptly sent a ID number for the chat session and said thanks. I don't know if he got his windows mixed up or if he was just terrible, but I didn't want to want longer to find out.
Also, signing up took like 20 minutes from a bunch of errors and it would not recognize my name and password on the client or site for like 10 minutes.

Quick response to my email about the "FREE" tourny entry, but NO response to where my "FREE" cash is. Five emails, five days.

Do all these little HAVE to be started by complete idiots in their garages?

So sad. A million dollars spent to start a site, and not a clue how to run it or market it. These guys couldn't get hired at McDonalds.

FWIW, a lot of people have had issues getting money out of sportsbook.com so I would be careful if I were going to try to this site out.

martin, i will forward you the email i had sent previously.

i want you to know that i am VERY disappointed with your answer. there is no mention of a deposit requirement (though i was going to make one), and NO mention of an expiration date in the mail you sent to my home. i find this misleading, and the wrong way to get my trust in your new poker room. i am a moderator at twoplustwo.com. we are the largest gaming forum in the world. i had already started to spread the word to our 100,000+ members, and now i feel like i am sending them to a room that uses false promises, and perhaps can't be trusted.

i was a DAY ONE paradise player, and a very active affiliate since the beginning. the old paradisepoker never pulled this kind of technicality. their word was their word, and i would expect you to stand behind your offer to me. there was NO mention of restrictions or terms for the seat in this tournament.

WSOP tourny is over - slicknyc played just fine, and was run-over by cards ARGG, and took first - I finished in second - ARGG!

On another note, the software was fine most of the time, but a major MAJOR problem:

slicknyc's cards would not show when he called (all other players had the usual two face-down cards showing they were still in the hand), and twice at the final table I made a big bet against a check from what I thought was the only other player in the hand - but slick was to my left and called both times (unfortunately I bluffed both times). Sure, I should watch the action more closely, but...

Software problem I can live without................
