I had a very similar hand to this earlier, I called and he had kings.

I think most of the time you are looking at bottom set or overs with a missed flush draw.

yeah I usually reload to full this is right after a hand and I did it late and it wouldnt let me do it while a hand was in progress

Against a reg I think he has an 8 here almost always. The overbet is to get extra value when you look like you've gone into check-call mode to beat missed draws.

I like the call. There is a small chance he's got the 8, but I think he missed his draw. If he doesn't have an 8 and he is ahead of you, he probably wouldn't (shouldn't?) have given a free card on the turn.

I did read some replys saying he has an 8 here often. It's easy to say that was wrong after seeing the results, but I don't know how you guys say that a reg has an 8 almost always here. You really think a reg calls with an 8 on the flop??? I'd love to play that reg any day of the week if that's what you're implying.

edit: oh yea, his flop call is a draw almost always here and not a combo one since he should be raising the flop, so bet turn to cut some of his odds and c/c river

So you like folding or 3 betting? I'm confused. Also, I don't think a reg is calling this flop with an 8, so I think his range on the river should be heavilly weighted towards missed draws, and you should call and feel good about it.
