easy fold imo

I think I like a fold; doesn't seem like it's as easy as you say though.

what else does he 3 bet with here

Re: Turned Str8 but flush came, too

He probably 3-bets here with AA/66/AxK[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Someone with a pfr% of 11 is far less likely to have raised with sc's or A2s-A9s which makes a flush far less likely. Even more so if he is positionally aware and his pfr% would be even lower than 11 from UTG.

I'm not saying this is an easy call. But it doesn't look like an easy fold to me at all.

If you c/r the turn you better snap call this shove.

easy call

Re: Turned Str8 but flush came, too

This seems like a call to me, purely because the Ah being on the flop takes a lot of his suited range away. Someone with 11% pfr is not generally going to be raising much from UTG.

With a range of AA,66,KhQh,AcKh,AdKh,AsKh we have 70% equity on the turn, easy call!

Thoughts on my range?

easy call

Re: Turned Str8 but flush came, too

why are u check raising if you you're going to fold? it seems once u checkraise you have to play this hand for stacks

Re: Turned Str8 but flush came, too

I really don't understand the 'easy call' responses. Fish minraise suited broadways UTG and like too make small bets with flush draws, too pick up the pot cheaply, or see a cheap turn. He has a hand like KJhh 95% of the time.

Re: Turned Str8 but flush came, too

call call call
40/11/3 makes me think that he's not raising small suited connecters UTG, the only flush you could be worried about is KhQh.

Villian looks like he's doing this with AA, or AxKh

Koost 06-11-2007 12:06 PM

Re: Turned Str8 but flush came, too

wouldn't someone running 40/11 NOT raise poo like KhJh UTG. Seems like he would be limping much more often no?

VanBeek 06-11-2007 12:21 PM

Re: Turned Str8 but flush came, too

Villain will probably flatcall with AA or AxKh. Also, I think a not positional aware 40/11 is capable of minraising JTs+ UTG.
Most donks are obsessed with making flushes and play very scared when they see 3 hearts on the board (he'll probably call of his whole stack with AK, but he won't bet the money himself).

Re: Turned Str8 but flush came, too

My thought process was, too that he normally won`t taise Suited connectors. But on the other hand he made a tiny raise and bet.

Do you like the hand especially the c/r?
Pre is marginal i think.

Fold, rest looks fine for sure.

Fold preflop. 45o oop is a ridiculous hand.

It's a minraise a coldcaller and obv a bad opponent, putting in 5 more here is fine.

Thx Hattifnatt.
I get the feeling it`s pretty marginal here, or?

Re: Turned Str8 but flush came, too

pre is not marginal its actually a pretty big leak if u think about it, this spot happens all the time.

marginal would be like a set over set situation, which rarely happens

Re: Turned Str8 but flush came, too

I don`t think it`s a leak playing this hand with these odds against a bad opponent
