Ryan Beal's statement of purpose for locking the thread:
"Some people went too far here. This thread has run its course."

This thread did not even come close to going too far by 2p2 standards.

I propose that BBV4Life do the right thing..

Ridiculous.

This site has a real shortage of quality threads and we shouldn't be locking one of the few good ones. I only saw one or two that crossed the line. How about delete those rather than lock the entire thread? Probably take an extra 2 minutes ,but well worth the extra effort, I think.

It's seriously ridiculous to lock a thread of amazing work because you're worried about getting sued.

In the terminator photo, he deposited money into a bank account, let interest build, and then brought it back to himself during his battles with John Connor. In the South Park pic, he saved up his food stamps his whole childhood, finally cashing them in when he turned 18, and moved to Vegas armed with a fake ID and a 3K roll. A mix of his reading ability and flipping ability allowed to him to strike it rich.

Admo,

If I had to guess, a lot of admin decisions are made and defended just to save the admins' time. yeah, it sucks that good posters get banned and good threads get locked, but it's better than constantly policing the troublesome posters and threads.
