Bet more on the flop.
Raise more on the river.. you have the nuts

played this fine. if you get a blank turn do you call river bet?

also raise more on the river, minraise is terrible, make it like 32 or 36

Re: To raise or not to raise 100NL

Yes, I agree , raise was terrible, but I was suspecting that the player would fold to more. Probably would call with Qc or Jc, but was not sure. On the other hand, maybe he would call anyway, cause I could be bluffing.

Re: To raise or not to raise 100NL

so wtf did your opponent pay you off with?

you played this whole hand out to try and induce bluffs.
Standard line would be to raise the turn to give sets and flushes a chance to make mistakes.
Typically you'll win a small pot or a big pot.
I dont know what hands can pay you off on the river if you raise more.
As played, you probably got maximum value from whatever trash he played.

Re: To raise or not to raise 100NL

bet more on the flop, since you likely have the best hand, and you want to charge the multiple possible draws

turn is good

pot river

Obviously sets and flushes aren't folding, so they are making a mistake in this hand by calling your raise or even reraising your reraise.

we're discussing the turn, when you're behind both sets and flushes - you don't know what the river will bring

Bodyslam I think you misread the post - OP has just the bare Ac not AcKc

Re: To raise or not to raise 100NL

oh whoops, I thought hero had AcKc.
Yeah, definitely bet more on flop.
turn call is good, raise river to 30.

played this fine

Ummm ... no he didn't.

Pf - should be min 3.5bb and if there is no auto bet pot button, then 4bb is better.

Flop - Bet more to get value from draws. Sriously - wtf are you thinking?

Turn - OMG, you played one street correctly! Nice work. *Pat on the back*

River - psb please.

What a nitty criticism this is. As if raising 3.5x BB is "correct" and 3 BB is "incorrect". It really doesn't matter how much hero raises here as long it's not a min-raise or something.

I agree the river's bad though. When you have the nuts, you should be looking to win a big pot. Not trying to eke out 10 bucks.
