How often do you get physically annoyed playing poker?
 

Im not necessarily talking about full-blown monkey tilt but when playing poker how often do you do something like the following. Notice they are broadly categorised into levels of frustration a) being mildly annoyed, e) being someone's probably calling the cops.

a)Shout loud enough for everyone else in your house to hear
b) Bang you fist on the desk
c) Break you mouse/keyboard/monitor/desk
d) Kick your dog/cat
e) Beat up the next person who you happen to see.

I have an a) moment about every hour, a b) once a session or so and have had one c) before, though admittedly that was playing online BJ. No d)'s or e)'s as yet [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Just curious to find out if im normal or not.

a) used to happen all the time when i first started online pokers

i remember after getting 1 outed as the third chip leader vs the chip leader in a 24$ tourney near the FT, I walked out to the living room to grab a glass of water and said loudly "[censored]!" then my mom asked me why i was angry and i said i just lost as a 97% favourite then she said "well stop gambling then" and i went back to my room on even more tilt

I think ive gone through about a dozen keyboards in my poker career.

I actually broke one today. I flopped a set and KNEW I was gunna lose to runner runner, so I went ahead and just preemptively threw it against the wall. Im glad I ended up losing to runner runner, otherwise I sure would have felt dumb!

naw man A and B pretty much after the 3rd bad beat of a session. I dont break anything but after the 10th BI i start running around my room jumping on my bed and screaming into my pillows, meh its better than murdering someone.

I pretty much just shake my head, and mutter the words "unreal", Un-[censored]-believeable, and "of course" over and over and over and over again.

And how about when someone tries to talk to you after a bad beat, I just wanna smack that person with a chair no matter who they are of whatever they just said.

g) baseball bat+pillow/bed/couch. accomplishes the same thing without needing to buy another keyboard,desk,pet, etc.

I've done b and c each once since I started playing a few years ago. Right before I stopped playing minbet. [censored] 300bb downswing on jokerstars. Snapped a keyboard in half and started playing NL.

b) After taking a bad beat I will often beat the crap out of this old pillow I have, like I wail on it. I accept it as part of the game but I don't have to like it.

I am so numb to beats anymore that its hard to get more than a cmon out of me.

A couple of years ago though I took a series of rapid fire beats and the next thing I knew I ws standing up and my big bulky chair was fifteen feet across the room wedged in the wall about three feet up.

definitley guilty of a,b and c. I usually just take my Phil Hellmuth book and smash it against the wall/desk/roomates face, screaming "I PLAYED IT JUST LIKE YOU SAID!!! [censored]!!!!11"

f. spending the rest of the night drinking which is exactly what I am doing after the biggest donkey ever challenges me to move up from 200NL to 1000NL, stacks me in the first 20 hands and then leaves.

I've done a and b occasionally.

I couldn't imagine breaking anything
