NFL who\'s bandwagon you on?

Its about that time, make your bold predictions of teams that you think will exceed expectations. Being from MN, I'm high on them mostly cuz their stellar draft, but also cuz Childress seems to becoming a little less stupid daily.

Besides me being a homer:
49ers - I really like some of their young players
Lions - maybe not this year, but in 2-3 years I think they will be very good.

Bandwagons are for toolboxes anyway. I'm a Vikes fan. I don't like it, but I am what I am.

49ers are my team, so obviously on them. I'm from eastern PA though, so I'll usually cheer for the Eagles as long as they're not playing the 49ers. That's about it though. I have a soft spot for teams with Penn Staters, like KC, but things aren't looking up for LJ this year

I'm a Titans fan, and I'm looking for them to exceed expectations and wind up around the .500 mark. I haven't read much about the NFL over the offseason, but I'd guess that's quite a bit above what's expected of them.

I think the Jets will be good. Let me rephrase that. I hope the Jets will be good, because the Giants certainly will not be.

It's a little early to peg the "popular sleeper team that everyone picks & is thus not a sleeper anymore" but I think the Titans are a good guess at this point.

Yup. I'm with this guy.

And, FWIW, the jury still is out on Thompson. I just don't think he wants Favre on his team, so I guess I wish he would just be man enough to say he doesn't want Favre, and either trade Favre or tell him to retire.

That's all.

Neither of you have obviously payed much attention to their off season. They'll be lucky to win 4 games. But oh yeah, I forgot VY just wins football games!!

Lions != Bandwagon

I don't see much to get excited about in Detroit... even 3 years down the road.

jets fan and no surprise, i'll stick with them...just hope brady doesn't go nuts on them even more now that he has receivers...

hopefully the giants blow this year...

Re: NFL who\'s bandwagon you on?

Vikings and Cardinals fan. I am hopeful that they will both be better then last year. I like the Cards new staff and the Vikings have (slightly) improved talent-wise over last year I think (partially due to Erasmus James and Chad Greenway coming back).

I think Denver is going to be back on top of their game this year. Other then Lynch being a year older/slower, they have improved pretty much across the board since last year imo. Bly/Bailey is a SICK CB combo.

I'm also interested in how the Steelers do this year because I really like Mike Tomlin... I was pissed when I heard he got hired because I was hoping he'd replace Childress in MN in a year or two...

When did I predict they were going to be good?
Ten months ago Miami was the fashionable sleeper team. I thought & posted that they were the most overrated team in the league.

Lost Travis Henry, lost Drew Bennet, lost Pacman, i.e. they lost too much in the off season. White looks to be a bust at this point and have no clue as to who their going to have at the wide out positions. I like Vince Young but I don't think they get too much better this year.

Also, an FYI...I am on the Cleveland Browns bandwagon as well. If anyone is curious there is a lot of room left if anyone else wants to join up.

How long have you been a Browns fan??? I grew up being a Browns fan but when they moved to Baltimore I lost interest mainly because I don't live in Cleveland and haven't been there in many moons. For some reason I still follow the Indians though but not that closely.

Re: NFL who\'s bandwagon you on?

For me to jump on a bandwagon I have to like the QB and feel like he can step up and I won't include teams that I feel are already good programs. So in the AFC that knocks out Raiders, Titans, Jaguars( ), Texans, Browns, Ravens(iffy, just age factor), and Dolphins.

Now that leaves teams to jump on their bandwagons that were mediocre teams last year, Bills, Jets(mediocre though they made the playoffs), and Steelers. Though Steelers are the smart pick, and Jets the sexy pick. I like the Bills to do better this year and Losman to improve. Bills problem is that AFC East is a hell of a division.

As for an NFC team, I refuse to take the Panthers, possibly Rams. I just don't like the NFC outside of the Giants.

I am a new member of this bandwagon. I am a huge Notre Dame fan and I knew I would closely follow whatever team he went to. I was really impressed with their first round and have placed the Browns as my 3rd favorite team.

Im not gonna argue this but their 1st rd wasnt very good imo. Mostly cuz I think Quinn isnt gonna be very good, same w/ Russell. Because of that I think they gave up too much (almost for sure a top 10 pick next year, + a second right?) Seems too much for Quinn, but w/e. I like the Thomas pick tho.

Even though I like them, I think the 49ers look like the leader in the clubhouse in this field. This could be good news for past everyone on the bandwagon champion Arizona.

I'm a Steelers fan but I like watching the Falcons. Mike Vick is probably the most entertaining player in the NFL. I said entertaining, not good. I'm curious to see if the new coach can turn him around.
