Limited to: First 50 entrants

Prizes:
1st - $400

Name criteria:
Creative and clean
One to three words
Max 15 characters (preferably close to 10)
Proper capitalization*
Spelled correctly
Make sense

Entries:
Minimum – 200 words (1 ticket)
Maximum – 1,000 words (5 tickets)
1 ticket for each 200
Contest Closes: As soon as I have 50 entries. Entries that arrive after 50, but before I post will be accepted. If I don’t get 50 by the end of next week I will close the contest at my discretion.

All entries must be submitted in Excel format.

Fine print
I personally reserve the right to eliminate any list of words from the contest (but use the good ones [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] ) based on any of the content in the list, including but not limited to duplicate words, offensive content, a lack of creativity, spelling, grammar, understanding, etc. If you submit a list of words that you personally wouldn’t name your poker tables, then don’t expect I will accept it! I am a creative person and a list of boring names will not work. Do not take a list of adjectives and attach it to a list of nouns. I don’t want a ‘Blue Computer’ but I want a ‘Tahiti Jungle’.

The apparel – I didn’t list things in particular because I don’t want to list a jacket for someone that would rather have a sweatshirt and a hat. I will email the people that place 6th – 10th and work out some stuff for them to receive.

That’s it. I have done these in the past and always forgot some important particulars. I tried to cover everything here. If I figure out something that I forgot or left too vague, I will reply to this post with a correction. If at any point I feel I need to cancel the contest, I will do so and make a reply here.

mike im very irritated right now. i submitted 200 names to you almost a week ago and you never replied to the twoplustwo pm i sent you. i also didnt properly capitalize the words so now ill have to go back to correct everything since you decided to clarify the rules a week later.

could you please reply to my pm and give me my list of names back so that i could capitalize them? you didnt provide an email to send them to in your original post so i sent them via 2p2 instead. if 50 people submit names before im able to capitalize the names because of a delay on your part, i ask you give me a ticket since it took me an entire hour to build the list.

mike o malley pmed me and informed me that he didnt receive my twoplustwo pm. i know i sent it but i believe him of course which makes me think it was a server problem. when sending the message, i checked the box on the bottom that says allows you to save a copy of the message. unfortunately twoplustwo did not save a copy of the message and they didnt even send it. i did not save the names on my computer so my time was wasted. :/

btw, i used all the streets in the game monopoly for names so if anyone wants to use them i think theyre a good idea.

In the "My Home" page of your account, right at the bottom of the page is a contact us link to email the "forum-master". I guess this is the person who can most likely change your account name to something with a couple more spaces.

A couple of clarifications:

200 table names. Not 100 tables names with two words in each.

The minimum # that can be turned in is 200.

So far the most creative entry failed to meet the minimum requirements; it only had one table name:

"Hi, I'm not sure if i fully understand the competition but its for a name for a table with out reasoning behind it correct ?
My table name would be Anabolic Aces, because every time someone is dealt pocket aces they get a rush of adrenaline that would be comparable to lifting weights in the gym and pushing that last rep out and exploding in a rage of pride and strength that is the epitome of being anabolic. So a person who weight trains and plays poker at times can share a similar feeling at these particular times"

If I get 10,000 of these I know what I will be doing for the next three months!
