Final Table Sweat : Fiery Justice at the Mirage

tearin' it up Jonathon: Amnon Filippi bets $31,000 from late position and Richard Kirsch announces raise on the button. He fires out $100,000 and Jonathan Little then moves all in right behind him from the small blind. Amnon folds and Kirsch goes into the tank. He says "I just can't call here," and tosses two jacks face up on the table. Little has been very fond of moving all in over the last couple of hands and has been able to pick up a lot of chips with his aggression..

good luck, keep it up!!!!!

Re: Final Table Sweat : Fiery Justice at the Mirage

Darrell Dicken limped from middle position, David Peat called all in for his last 7k from the cutoff, Richard Kirsch limped from the button, Jon Little limped from the small blind, and Cory Carroll checked the big blind. The flop came 10c4h3h with a check around the table. The turn came 7d, Little bet 40k, and Carroll was the only caller. The river came 6d, both players still with chips checked, and the players turned up:

Jon Little 10h3s
David Peat Ad7h
Darrell Dicken (mucked)

Little took the pot with his two pair to send David Peat home in 7th place with $72,047.

----------------

Anyone else lead the flop here if they are FieryJustice? What about betting the river?

What are the odds that pokerwire reported this hand correctly?

Congrats to FieryJustice and Gigabet on making the TV table.

----------

End of the day stacks:

Place Name Chip Count
1 Phil Ivey 1,395,000
2 Cory Carroll 1,235,000
3 Darrell Dicken 1,203,000
4 Jon Little 956,000
5 Richard Kirsch 810,000
6 Amnon Filippi 571,000

I should have bet but I already had the instacheck motion in progress, so I didnt want to look like I had a super strong hand. I ran nicely today and most plays I made worked. Hopefully I can make good things happen tomorrow. thanks to everyone for their support.

GL Jon! This is so sick.

And I agree with Nath... even though it's a WPT, I still think FT is gonna friggin fun to watch.

If there is anything that the new HSMTT forum needs its a hand from the final table of this event... that is, if FieryJustice is on the list of people who can start threads in the new forum.

I thought they readjusted the blinds at the beginning of the final table based on the WPT format of total chips in play?

Jonathan Little raised to 120k and Cory Carroll reraised to 340k. Jonathan "Fiery Justice" Little came over the top all in for 2.37m and Carroll called.

Jonathan Little Jh8h
Cory Carroll Ah5s

The flop fell Ad5d5h giving Carroll a full house and leaving Little drawing to running J's. The Kc turn and 9d river gave doubled up Carrol.

I can't wait to hear the announcers when they show this one on TV.

Down to heads up with Cory "UGOTPZD" Carroll.

Pretty sick that the final 3 were all online pros.

Happy for either to take down the $1m, but am secretly rooting for Firey Justice cuz I <3 his blog .

wtf, this guy is him?

He's a 2p2er as well. I remember seeing him at my table in some random $30 donkament when they POZZED jokes first started and I obv asked who he was on 2p2 to congratulate him on such a great username but he wouldn't say who except that he wasn't an MTTF poster.

Re: Final Table Sweat : Fiery Justice at the Mirage

yes!

Cory Carroll has the button, he raises to 300,000, Little moves all in, and Carroll puts his hands together and rests his head on them while he thinks. After about two minutes, he calls all in for 1,580,000 with A 8. Little shows 5 5, and it's a race situation. Little needs to improve if he wants to win it all right here.

The flop comes 10 10 7, and Little needs an ace, an eight, running diamonds, or running straight cards to bust Carroll.

The turn card is the K, the river card is the 10, and Carroll finishes the hand with a full house to double up in chips.

Erm - Little had the Full House... and won the hand to double up .

I think they're back to roughly even in chips now.

Gogogogo JL!!!

Didn't know UGOTPZD was a 2+2'er. As I said, I'd be pretty happy for either to win, I've just kind of grown to like Little through reading his blog.

I'm pretty sure this was reported incorrectly---the above quote contradicts itself. Jon had 55 and was all in and doubled through.
