Snapcall or valuetowned?
He's 22/17/10 over only 110 hands. No specific reads.
I guess this is played pretty badly, I didn't really have any idea what was going on in this hand but I figured it looked whacky. Re: Snapcall or valuetowned?
valuetown
fold turn |
Re: Snapcall or valuetowned?
This doesn't look like a retarded semi-bluff?
|
Re: Snapcall or valuetowned?
looks like a turned two pair or set or semibluff.
not a good range for your Q7 to play against |
Re: Snapcall or valuetowned?
Bet the flop.
I don't hate the turn/river play, but you're beat quite a bit. |
Re: Snapcall or valuetowned?
vtowned
|
Re: Snapcall or valuetowned?
cbet the flop. i would probably just check behind on the turn but this doesn't look that bad b/c he could be semibluffing. i think i'm folding the river though.
|
Re: Snapcall or valuetowned?
bet the flop
given that you didn't, I'll often check back on the turn upon pairing up, to avoid this sort of spot where I look weak and give my opponent the chance to put me in a nasty spot if I do bet the turn it's usually against people that I have some control over so that I will know what their reaction means |
Re: Snapcall or valuetowned?
if you're checking flop, check turn. Interesting river becuz all the turn draws missed. I don't think he's c/min raising this turn with a draw tho. I would say he couldve flopped set, but more likely KQ or KJ.

Re: Snapcall or valuetowned?
gotta fold the river as played

I would say he couldve flopped set, but more likely KQ or KJ. [/ QUOTE ] Don't you think that 90% of the time he leads the turn with these hands. There's no evidence to suggest that I'm going to bet the turn if he checks and he doesn't really want to see a river and he's running out to streets to get value from. |
Re: Snapcall or valuetowned?
this is ugly.
fold to the min-raise. |
Re: Snapcall or valuetowned?
if I had a king or better I would try for a checkraise here very often. ofc I'd do it with a draw or sometimes air as well so it sorta balances out
|
Re: Snapcall or valuetowned?
Fold the turn. Min check-raises on the turn from nits = bad news
|
Re: Snapcall or valuetowned?
i agree; if he had set/KQ/KJ he would lead the turn having missed his cr on the flop.
