5/10 turned set river play

I haven't played with villain before this session. He doubled up on a set over set hand. He has played tight aggressive.
My turn bet was a little too small. Should I just stick the rest in on river?

By "stick it in on the river", do you mean, should you call his river raise (??? of course ???), or do you mean, should you bet allin after he checks to you? (depends on opponent.)

If I should call his river checkraise... Im just checking. Is this a very easy call? It just looks alot like 53

I admit I didn't even notice that the wheel was a possibility.

Who check/minraises with a wheel draw?

I put him on AQ or a smaller set.

tags cc 53 oop?

Re: 5/10 turned set river play

tags usually don't call 53 oop preflop. just call the river raise. you're good most of the time here.

53 is probably out of the question for tags like him...only other hand he could lose to is AA, which the other guy would have reraised PF, raise bigger on flop, or bet the the turn. Anything wrong with pushing him all in for value?

This is an easy call/shove the rest in.

Can't push the BB allin because he is already allin.

So's AA, but this is such a strange way to play both of these hands that they're very unlikely.

Re: 5/10 turned set river play

You still see Aces up or a smaller set often enough to make this a very easy call.

if he gets to the river with JT like that then pay him off, this smells like the worlds worst played 44
