Serious Thread again: SIMPLE PLEASURES
 

NO, it's not sexual, but obv MSPaints are welcomed here [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
anyways, everyone in the world today runs after money, more money everything is about money. that is how the world is at this point. but im sure many of us still do a lot of very fun things that are free and we enjoy them fully.
for example, a walk in the park, riding a bike, reading a book, seeing a movie on tv, sleeping, love, good food you make, anything is allowed.
so let's hear it guys, what do you like to do that is free or at least very cheap and is a lot of fun?

I actually really, really really enjoy playing and studying poker which I think is rare these days among the mid-high players.

Other simple pleasures:

-Drinking coffee and reading at starbucks with my gf (lol yuppiements).
-Going out to really nice restaurants...not much beats the perfect restaurant experience
-playing with my oldest nephew who is just the most awesome kid ever. He's the best audience too cause there's a few things that I can do that make him laugh really hard and it NEVER gets old for him.
-swimming
-listening to music, like really listening and not as background music
-singing/songwriting or just jamming with people (haven't done that since I started working:( )

tru dat, only I play micros so it's kind of like studying for sped classes.

I enjoy listening to comedy, and making people laugh.(at me, not with me, more often than not)

really liked what you said here, and yeah i got two nephews to whom im like God and when i got there they are all over me and stuff like that. that is really great

some of the things i enjoy doing:
- playing basketball (used to really play before i came to college and had to start working)
- play table tennis
- walk in the park with fiance and listen to whatever is going on in college these days
- going for a drive at 1 am when there are holidays all around town (during day is a huge mess, but at night, with all the nice lights and basically a few cars on the road is awesome).
- buying flowers to fiance, i really enjoy her expression and how the room looks overall with a flower in it
- yeah i listen to music a lot too, ive liked music since i was like 4 years old and had songs stuck in my head
plus many other things, must get home and think about them, just leaving work now

- poker, like Gild, especially those short periods you're Shania and they might as well be playing you with their cards up, you're so sharp.
- movies
- when driving through heavy rain, those few second you go under a bridge and the rain stops hitting
- taking off too-tight socks, and rubbing the idents left in your ankles and legs.
- reading stories to my kids, and making them vivid so they really get engrossed
