bet 45 and call a shove. if he calls the turn bet the rest of his stack on the river. you can never fold here against an unknown IMO.

Re: Reraise OOP with AQ flop an ace-whats turn play?
check and reevaluate with probably leaning to a CR all in.

Felt.

I agree you can't fold against an unknown but I think I like c/r better. If you bet turn again I expect almost all hands you beat to fold, with the exception of maybe AJ/A10. c/r lets him bluff if he's been floating and if he's got an A he might bet that anyway if you check. If turn is checked through you can bet river and possibly get value from Ax or Kx.

Check is best.

Re: Reraise OOP with AQ flop an ace-whats turn play?
I like betting better than checking because he might ck behind with AJ/AT but call down with them assuming he is an average 100NL player. And I don't think he is floating the flop on this board.

yea bet this and plan to call a raise, his range is so wide and he prolly has a dominated ace or a king, this is an easy bet

ok well i checked it and he shoves for like 67 now what? [/ QUOTE ] Easy call. And the only reason a Turn check is probably better than a bet (when a potsized bet is a shove for him) is because he'll put the last off his money in with many worse hands that he wouldn't call an allin with, including floated air (underpair etc.). So the only reason to check is so he can push. And you can call. If he has AK moveon. Most of the times an unknown won't. |
