Not that much action this week but I'm not really disappointed cause I know it's setting up for a sick finale.

meh on this episode. would have been hard to top the last few episodes anyways and it seems like the actors were just trying to get people in place so that they can tie up some subplots as the season ends. oh well, there's always next week.

It certainly wasn't as exciting, but I can't blame them for that. It did seem like a posturing episode. I expect big things next week.

Thought a lot of this was solid, some of it was horrible. The Syler stuff was good. Hiro and Ando luke warm, Peter and jailbait v. bad.

They do have me very interested in where this is going.

From what I can recall all the advertisements previous to this episode said stuff like "the final 3 chapters BEFORE the finale" which made me think there was atleast 4 more hours, probably 3 reg eps + 2 hour finale.

maybe just wishful thinking to have 4-5 shows rather than just 3.

they've made it clear they don't want to fall into that trap, and I expect that the sylar storyline will wrap up. why else develop his character so suddenly? I haven't decided yet if

A. peter is going to die too.
B. Peter is going to be the superman they have to write around from now on
C. Peter is next season's villian.

The mom thing just felt bad overall. Plus I don't really like the actor playing Sylar, doesn't feel very convincing to me but he's got the "smart" psycho-look going for him.

I read an article somewhere that each season of Heroes is going to be an independent storyline possibly (probably) including some of the heroes from previous seasons and that they'd likely tie together in an overarching storyline but that each season would be independent.

Which would be sweet, because that would mean we'll get a lot of our questions answered before the end of the season.

One thing I am 100% convinced we haven't seen the end of is the Helix, and why that damn thing is everywhere. It's like the Lost Numbers but even more aggravating.

He's had the ice power for a long time, according to the wiki page, which obviously takes from the comic strips, he used it to freeze the road when he was escaping from the primatech facility, so that they couldn't chase him.

I remember that when the FBI was first chasing him (like episode 2 or 3), they came upon a corpse that was frozen. Might've been Molly's parents (the new little girl).

Baumer, next week is one hour so is the week after. That's all that's left.

OMGit'smatt, they cancelled that plan of having a mostly new cast next season with the current cast in the background. Creator of the show said he switched once he heard how popular all the characters are.

And Sylar's had ice power since before we heard his name, wingnut said what part it was from, when he killed Molly's parents.

This is correct. 5/14 is 1 hour and 5/21 is a 1 hour Season Finale. I should know.

That's a bummer, I thought it was a really creative idea and easy way to keep the show fresh. Plus it would give it more of a comic book feel. Ah well. At least I have Lost which is guaranteed to change gears every season.

I still do not understand Peters motive to "stop" from exploding. All he needs to do is not meet Ted, and he doesn't absorb his power. Except instead he goes to "stop" Ted from giving him his power, which of course means he got his power. Just seems like a retarded way for Ted and Peter to meet.

Comic books don't flip over there roster yearly, old characters come back from the dead yearly. I like the new idea, better than "You love Hiro? You'll love his cousin Chan then! And who could forget Claire? Bet you won't forget her half-brother!"

At the end of the show they said something about two chapters next week. Does anyone know if they plan to have this go two more weeks? I would be hella excited for a two hour finale next week.
