Buffalo has looked terrible all playoffs and were 7 seconds away from being dumped by the Rangers. They're a soft overrated skill team that has NO shot at the cup. No one will beat Anaheim this year, that team is just too solid.

More like common sense. Before yesterday's game, the Rangers were 9-0 in their last nine games at MSG. Add to that winning three straight, with their goaltender single handedly stealing one in Buffalo to give them the series lead in a pivotal game 5. Yeah, I'm thinking they would have won in 6.

Emery is already better than Miller, but as usual the hockey world is sleeping (just like they were last year with Miller).

Sabres had a chance to bury the Sens once and for all last fall when Ottawa was in a freefall. They didn't get it done, and now the Sens are going to the Finals (where they'll lose to the Ducks).

If the Sabres' offense is better than Ottawa's, it's a very marginal edge. And Ottawa makes up for that with their better defensive game, including a shutdown pairing of defence that Buffalo can't match.

Emery doesn't need to play better than he ever has -- if he plays as well as he played against NJ, the Sens win. If he plays the best hockey of his career, it's going to be Ottawa in a sweep.

I actually think experience is one of the bigger factors in this matchup. But all is for naught, as the ducks win the final in 6 vs either team. Ducks are for real this year.

If you don't think they haven't been watching & preparing for the Sens since before they knew they were going to be facing them for sure you're confused.

This defensive pairing you're talking about has already been ironed out. It's in the bag. I feel sorry for the Sens coaches because they have to deal with trying to figure out how to shut down 4 complete and offensively potent lines plus work out penalty kills.

I think Ottawa is potentially going to be spread too thin and they're most likely going to be spending more time in the box than Buffalo.

Look guys, I want to see a Canadian team win the cup again just as much as you do, it's just not going to happen this year.

Even if they do fluke out and beat Buffalo they're going to have to play either the Ducks or the Wings and you and I both know they aren't going to fare well against either one.

If Spezza hoists the cup, I will gladly eat my words. I will personally appologise to all of 2+2's Ottawa fans.

I just don't see them winning this series or a final in my oppinion.

See, this is just foolish. I may not know much, but I know two things that you've apparently forgotten:

- The Senators will always get the benefit of the doubt from the refs. Always. Seriously, they might as well wear little halos over their helmets the way they're treated out there.

- Eventually, the Sabres will get screwed hard by the refs in some way. This is probably the series it will happen in.

Well Ottawa coaches will be watching the same tapes and see how the Rangers managed to completly neutralize that 'incredibly deep Sabres attack' for at least half the games in their series. And Ottawa's D-men 1 through 6 are >>>>> NY Rangers D.

And the Sabres PP is terrible, btw. If Ottawa managed to contain one of the best PP teams in the league (that would be Crosby and co.) they'll handle Buffalo's PP easily.
