Wtf is this?

It says "No Limit Hold'em Buy-In $30 + $3" in the main lobby, and apparently each registered has added $30 to the prize pool.
However, in the tournament info it says "No Limit Hold'Em; Buy-In: $3000 + $300" oh and the rebuys cost $3, then I get the rebuy mania part. But what's up with $3k?

Look at all stars tournaments under the info the buyin is x 10 for some reason I don't know why.

This would be a good idea.

I will also bet anyone at 1-1 for any realistic amount of money me winning against them winning.

Ie. if we bet 1k, and I win, they give me 1k, if they win, I give them 1k, if neither, no money exchanges hands.

I'd rather do any of these bets through PM or AIM since it is so easy for people to chipdump someone.

Yup - no real experience winning with this group...

A quick thepokerdb.com lookup for cashes since Jan 1, 2006 shows a paltry average of 100k per runner... (just on Stars...)

Looks juicy to me...
