joost invites?

I just found out about this website and apparently today any previous user can send as many invites as they want now. Has anyone on here previously subscribed? if not ill search around and if i get invited ill invite whoever wants to be on here.

It's a website where you can watch TV shows for free. It's actually legal which makes me bet that you have to watch ads. It's worth checking out IMO.

Re: joost invites?

it's pretty crappy to be honest, at least the channels i get in europe (america has comedy central). it basically seems to be a bunch of crappy, low budget tv stations. nothing is really "live" (ie you're not going to get the NBA finals on this thing). it's all stuff like poker shows from england, worlds greatest soccer goals, an entire channel devoted to weddings that went wrong. there's a snow/surf/skate/bmx channel but each segment is only 3 minutes long so it's pretty dumb.

overall not nearly as cool as i expected. i'm going to keep exploring though and if there's any cool stuff.

pretty sure anyone can open that link

I just got Joost and I think it's pretty cool for a free program. It's not "live" but it has MTV, Comedy Central, Fight Network, PokerHeaven and some other cool stuff.

If you wanna be invited, send me a PM with the following as the title of the PM:
"JOOST: [firstname] [lastname] - [email address]" (first and last name can be fake)

I just noticed this in the EULA:

I'm not sure I want to download this now. Is there anyway to manage how much they hog your bandwidth?

I think joost has a lot of potential but they need to get better content.

The Suns just won so I'm in a good mood. PM me your email and I'll send you an invite.

[/ QUOTE ]quit the program completely. when you close it, it minimizes to the taskbar, you have to select the minimized icon and click exit
