Owing to continued demand, again we have a central thread for questions, suggestions, complaints, and general discussion about WSEX.

Keeping everything in one thread helps everyone interested in WSEX to find full information, and those not interested know which thread not to read, so thank you for supporting the idea.

1) Can you please explain why players are still able to disconnect in the middle of big pots and cheat? If you ever want to be a legitimate site, you will stop this behavior and respond to player complaints about it. I have sent numerous complaints to "support" and never hear anything back.

2) THE SLIDER - please fix this. If I start at $400 2/4 NL, the standard raise preflop is to $12. If I doubleup and now have $800, the standard raise is NOT $24. The slider goes totally out of whack when people have more money in front of them. This should not be a hard fix.

It is a little late, but an anniversary tourney would've been a good touch and may have appealed to those who are drawn to MTTs. Perhaps a belated anniversary tourney could be planned.

WPX has built up a lot of good will among its poker player base, some of whom may tout the sports book side to non-poker player bettors. Thinking ahead, perhaps the GM can think of a small, 2+2 specific sportsbook promo to draw in new customers for the coming NFL season. I know a lot of recreational sports bettors who've lost their book during the past year and who would be drawn to some sort of token promo to set up a new account with a safe and reputable online site.

The various upgrades have gone very well. The mini-view is a great option. The software and connection issues have been solved. In the course of a year WPX has developed an extremely stable, playable platform that compares well to any leading site.

A Stars type slider for the NL and MTT players is really the final piece. A H.O.S.E. option may get some interest and would not require introducing a new game (RAZZ) to the lineup. If there's not much cost/time/effort involved, HOSE may be well received and may widen the player base.

I think it'd be cool to have some kind of chart that roughly estimates how much rake one is "earning" per hour...where you'd cross the level of stakes, # of tables played at once, and then whether the tables were full ring or short-handed. Perhaps too much variables would be required to do this...but showing people how much they could be making just for playing "break-even poker" would be a strong marketing tool I think

You mean at a full table, where they sit out for 3 or so rounds until the software boots them from the table, or at a table with just the two of you after some heads up play? If its the latter, that is very good evidence and I would be willing to admit I'm wrong.

And you would really convince me with a couple hundred consecutive hands.

You mean something like a calculator with pulldown menus where you could enter the stakes you play at and how much you play, and it'd calculate your rakeback? Why, that'd be brilliant. They could put it right on the main page of their website!

bubblehead is a bot. i wasnt sure then, but 100% sure now. hes just sitting there now at 20/40max after busting.

Hello, I'm trying to figure out if withdrawl via debit card at WSEX is viable for this Canadian. It seems to work with First Pay but their site has little info regarding fees and exchange rates? I know this info is probably somewhere and I breifly looked but got fed up. Can any one shed some light for me? As in, fees, reliablity etc... the site seems somewhat unreliable and my first impression filled me with distrust. Any help is grealty appreciated

That is the first thing I think I've ever heard where I actually thought, maybe a bot. Sorry to initially be so skeptical, but usually, when you ask someone who claims the world is overrun with bots, they say something that boils down to "well, I lost."

agreed, was just there watching bubbleboy.... I watch and play with this player lots, not much heads up though. Seems to me there are several players with the same heads up strategy... almost exact same with the donk auto bet on the flop after paying a raise....

The slider for the 50NL rooms seems to be broken. You can't click on the side of it to adjust the amount you want to bet, which is strange because you can do it in non-50NL tables.

I emailed them last week and they said they would look into it, but it still seems to be broken.

i havent cashed out by check in 2 months. i noticed it's taking longer then 2 weeks now(took only 1 week last couple times). how's everyone else's cashout speed? thx

I have a question... who is the guy getting $5k a week in rakeback? ... I don't mean 'whats his name'; rather, I'd like to know what kind of stakes is he playing and how many hands does he play a week?

My VERY best wsex week has seen me break the $1k mark (playing low stakes), I'd be interested in what it takes to break the $5k mark in one week.

I've made 1.5K+/week in RB playing less than 7K hands of 5/10. 5K/week RB really isn't that tough. Plenty of people would be hitting that regularly if more games were going regularly.

Actually, I have checked the games intermittingly throughout the day... I figure I could get in some 2000-2500 hands there a day with relative ease (provided I three/four tabled across two different levels).

However, the only thing that has kept me from playing at WSEX full time is the talk of rampant bots on the site.

The other day I watched a bot play at the table (a poster on this board mentioned the bots name and what table he was at, so I thought I would check it out).

After a while, I finally figured out a pattern to its preflop play and worked out its river play... but my god, it played a really aggro unpredictable flop/turn game (and was frustrating the hell out of its HU real-life opponent too)... that bot took flop donk betting to a whole new level. They wont have one. What are they supposed to say?

"yes the current situation on our site is the perfect breeding ground for rampant bot use and other forms of cheating." Then maybe they could link to the thread where they were 100% convinced a non bot user was a bot user as proof of their determination to rid cheaters from the site.

I requested a check at 12:30am Monday morning, after the rakeback was paid out. I paid the $30 for FedEx, and it arrived the next Monday.

I didn't get a confirmation email or tracking number of any sort, and when I emailed on Saturday to ask about the status, I didn't get a response but did get the check on Monday, so its all good.

My first couple weeks playing there i took down the high for week in rakeback like 4 weeks in a row. Then i got back into stars a little bit and cut down but i was mostly playing 5-10- 20-40 and taking in over 5k every week. My goal was to get about 1k a day which was very reasonable given 4 tabling for about 8-10 hrs a day. I am very curious about these bots and wut WPEX is going to do to prevent them.

Does wpex support player transfers currently? Also are there plans for epassporte support? I'm thinking about getting a relatively small amount of money back on there but none of the options looked too great, and I'd like to just get money over there from other sites if at all possible.

epassporte does not service sites that have sportsbooks, I believe. Antigua laws do not allow player to player transfers. But it's worth the extra effort to get in the game, IMHO.

Hi guys,
i cant find the answer to this question anywhere:
Is it currently definitely not possible to get wsex Hand historys with the screen names of players? I saw that they are trying to find a solution at pahud and pt forums, but it seems that the only result so far are very long threads.
So: Is there a tool or script or something that grabs/converts hand historys with "real" screen names that really works?
I wont change HHs manually, because poker is supposed to be fun.

Can anyone help me with this?

I've just got a new computer. I've set up hhs to be saved automatically on wpex but they just aren't being written to the hard drive. The wpex software seems to think they are but there is nothing there.

Not had a problem on my other computer. Vista related? Maybe McAffee?

thanks for being so helpful in listening to our comments and suggestions! I have some:

-I have noticed an improvement in telephone support/customer service. Thank you so much for this.

-I have noticed a big improvement in software issues - I virtually never get disconnected anymore! And my computer doesn't lag as much...so again, great job and thanks!

-I think the biggest things we'd like to be worked on are A) a poker wallet for u.s. players so we don't have to cash out by check B) increasing activity/traffic - which has indeed gotten better but obviously we'd like even more

I just want to express how much I absolutely love 100% rakeback and think WPEX, for limit players, is a no-brainer to play at and I really hope it's around for a long time. And you've got a loyal client in me.
