May Goals - SSSH and beyond
 

Just to get an early start on it...

1. Start transitioning from 2/4-3/6 to 5/10. My goal is 500 hands/day of 5/T, unless the BR takes a real walloping. When/if the BR gets to 10k, switch full-time.

2. At the same time, if I'm going to play a marathon session, make it 2/4-3/6.

3. Sat into the Sunday Mill every week I can play, cash at least once.

4. Keep up the gym regimen, finally get below 200 for the first time in ~5 yrs.

5. Stop reading 2p2 at work so much - corollary, get the billables up.

6. Catch up on my reading, poker and otherwise.

7. ????

8. Profit!

1. Learn SSNL.
2. Move up to 5/10 short online, 20/40 LHE and 2/5NL live.
3. BR > $10k plus some living expenses in the bank.
4. Fix comp. and put in 40k PT-tracked hands.
5. Read more, post more.
6. Make $$$$.

Run good. Not going to bother mentioning any "play X hands" or "move up to Y level" because there's no way I'm going to put in a decent amount of hands and I jump all over from like 5/10 to 75/150 depending on where/what/how/when I'm playing. I'd like to run hot at 15/30 Stars LHE and 30/60 Stud 8 so that I have enough to play the 30 LHE and 1/2 Stud 8 and run hot in 40 live so I can stay at 75 but if it doesn't happen then it doesn't happen.

These are my April results and a fantastic example of my terrible work ethic when it comes to putting in hands online:

My WTSD is weirdly low, perhaps variance, perhaps folding too much. There are also like 50 hands of Omaha 8 5/10 and 10/20 I played and won like $200 plus I don't know how many hands of Stud 8, pretty much all 30/60 where I won about 4k I think. My live results were awful:
+1800 (+900 30 min 75, +1100 7 hour 40, -200 30 min 20)
-7000 (-4000 6 hour 75, -3000 6 hour 40)
-2500 (8 hour 40)
+1100 (9 hour 40 +950, 1 hour 20 +150)

I remmber last week I 3 bet chez with like kjs and immediately started cursing at myself. Hand starts king high flop w/inside draw hand ends with me folding some tard calling and chez showing ak [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

1. Keep my BB/100 over 3 at the stars 2/4 and 3/6
2. BB/100 over 1 at WPX 2/4 and 3/6
3. Play more hands than april
4. Have a bankroll ready for 5/10 by the end of the month
5. Do not play any hands of 5/10 no matter how large my BR gets

I am in Mississauga all summer (near Toronto) so I want to put in some hours at the casino in Niagra Falls (I think it's called Fallsview). there aren't any poker rooms near where I am from so this is a sick opportunity. if any of you guys will be in the Toronto area from now till the end of August and want to fleece some fish with me give me a holla/PM.

also if any of you guys have been to Fallsview before gimme the low down on the games available and how good they are.

Haha, this is pretty funny. For some reason chezlaw always ends up at my table and starts three-betting me. I try to avoid him, but he plays like 300 tables at a time. Yesterday it was as if he were following me around. Maybe he was, but I don't think he knows who I am. Or maybe he does... [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img] I'm not THAT bad, am I?! [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

Okay, let's see about goals:

1. Get back to even lifetime at 5/10.
2. Make at least $3,000, before rakeback.
3. Don't slowplay any hands, especially sets.
4. No FPS
5. Try following my intuition more.

Play a little more @ 15/30.

Try to build a br high enuff for 5/10 @ another site.

Play less, post and study more. Continue improving so that I'm a winning 6max player in 2 months.

1.1 Quit after dropping 50BB in a day
1.2 If steaming, take a break.
1.3 When drunk/high only play low stakes
1.4 Maintain healthy yoga/work out schedule

2. Make 6000$ to raise money for vegas trip.

3. Balance playing NL and limit, live and online.

Sell off my crashed laptop for parts.
Build new rig.
Play all the April hands I never played, which for me is like 10k on a good month, but aim for 40k total.

I'm back, starting at 1/2 with $500 br, plan to try and play 1000 hands a day 3 tabling. Hopefully playing 3/6 or 5/10 with a ~250BB roll at the end of this month. Obviously I will be movng up and down pretty rapidly.

My goals are to work out what sites are good and where to play after my 7month break from poker.

6. Have a blast IRL

2 - Ace all remaining finals
3 - get on dean's list
4 - get job in an office type of area rather than park cars
5 - play more lhe than lo8, if I have time to play at all

- get a coach for supernova freeroll (since I dont do NL)
- make at least 4 digit profit
- get 30k + VPP
- take a break after dropping 50 BB
- quit for the day after dropping 100 BB
- tighten up my game
- stop bitching around at the table (maybe I just ask stars so disable my chat)
- read some NL books

Goals for April didn't work out so well, so my goal for May is to make no goals.
