down for me too. The connection dialog saying I'm "just a few seconds away from playing" has been mocking me for a few minutes now.

No, of course not. This is how FT makes money.

I believe FTP gives most players a small amount of money (around $5) for the inconvenience.

I don't mind that Full Tilt usually goes down for maintenance and/or possibly upgrading, but the only thing that bugs me is that they don't inform you ahead of time. I know that they occassionally have in the past, but why not just send out a mass e-mail to all users with a simple "Site will be down for (fill in the blank)" ? This is not too much to ask for is it?

When FTP went down a few weeks ago they had announcements every five minutes for 35 minutes before the server went down which would be ideal for future problems. I only play on FTP so I am unsure if it is standard for most sites to go down so frequently.

2+2 and FTP have a deal worked out. FTP shuts down its server to drive up the traffic here as everyone wants to know "Is Full Tilt down?"

Full-tilt gave me $5 back for a $26 tournament that froze about 10 mins into playing.. That is so deplorable in every single way and a slap in the face..

Re: Full Tilt down?

I'm sure they are going to refund everything. We go over the refund policy every time the site goes down. Is everyone too lazy to just look in the Terms & Conditions section of the site? Or do we just all forget what happens?
