I'm trying to figure out if this is a joke or an actual scam attempt. It's not really funny enough to be a joke, but it would be really dumb if it were a scam given the thread about a nearly identical scam at pokerstars a few days ago. Hmm...

How can this be a damn scam? I'm transferring the person the money on pokerstars first. It's a +EV move because getting laid right now would mean my play at the tables would improve. It's a small price to pay for $84 + the hooker ($30) maybe

If not, does anyone know of any alternatives? I have a paypal account with money in it. Does any place online sell travellers checks that I can pick up in person at a bank or something? If so, I can do this myself.

I'm in Manila... Neteller doesn't work in the Philippines so I couldn't transfer to my Neteller Debit Card even it was working.

Firepay is US accounts only.

A check would take 2 weeks.

I'll figure it out... ripping someone off for $300 is hardly worth tarnishing my reputation before it even starts. I just wanted to get some ass tonight!

I'm transferring money to a friend (only like $100) back in the states. It's enough to get laid tonight. The abars are open till like 3 AM tonight. I'll write up a trip report in OOT.

So you used a stolen credit card to fund an account, and now you need to get the money out through other means before they freeze the account.

Slider, the problem is you can use a stolen credit card to buy in to pokerstars, transfer the money to someone else (who sends you $300 real dollars), and then Pokerstars takes back the money from the other person when they find out the credit card was stolen. I'm not saying that's what you did, just that it happens all the time, so no one is going to want to get involved.

You obviously don't know much about the Sex trade.... How can most prostitutes be virgins? That doesn't work out too well. If I wanted some ass, I'd get it from a stripper who obviously has done it before.

I'm not going to argue the merits and demerits of the oldest industry in the world. It's pretty annoying that everyone jumps to conclusions that I'd steal money but I'm new here so it's understandable.
