Bad way to play a set in position?
 

I think I may have misplayed this flopped set. On the flop I checked to the raiser, which was fine, but then when he bet and got called I had the thought that I didn't want to blow them out of the water by showing alot of strength.

I then continued this on to the turn and just called a small bet, again I probably should have just raised.

now i'm at the river and because of my play on previous streets, if I bet it looks weird, if I check, there is a good chance CO will just check behind.

In retrospect, I probably should have raised the flop. Anyone agree?

Obviously not c/c. I think c/r or leading are both fine. I prefer to lead into the pf raiser on boards like this when I flop a set. A lot of times you will get raised back. A c/r is good too but lead&gt;&gt;c/r when I flop a set.

Both leading and c/r are fine. I probably go for c/r due to relative position

I think you lead out on the river about 2/3 the pot intending to call an all-in and fold to an $18 raise. Is that strange?

What I actually did was bet $10, I didn't know what I would do if he pushed AI, but I would think I would call.

The guy typed "LOL" in chat, then called with a KK loser.

I would probably valuebet the river for $6 but as you'll never be in this situation again without a very good reason why [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] it probably doesn't matter. You got a SET so start getting the money in at some point.
I usually lead the flop on that kind of board for a little less than the pot - maybe $2.50 or even $2 rather than check-raise.
I tend to play for stacks with a set and you need to increase the pot size as early (round-wise [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]) and as often as you can for this.

Oh lol I thought '(which I hate)' referred to raising the flop.
