ub hand histories today
 

the hand histories show the action all wrong and the money won/lost is also wrong. my pt profit is 1350 while my ub account seems to be up by about 100. anyone else with these problems [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] pt says my vpip is 6/0 after 200 hands at 600.

i didn't win over 1000 like pt says but i'm pretty sure it was much more than 100.

You used to be able to request hands, but was a limited number, 100 or 500 I think. Not sure anymore

Just stopped my session for the night. Balance in cashier seems to be correct. Values in PokerTracker are way off.

Also noticed the UltimatePoints were not updating properly while I was playing.

I wish they would fix this, I want to play, but I don't want to stop and have it say I am up 3x as much as I really am. (Or down that much either)

Here's the weird thing...

the PT stuff looks legit when I look at the HH's in PT...

So, that must mean that UB isn't paying out, or something.

On a first look, it seems the problem is that anytime anyone raises pre-flop, it leaves out that action from the hand histories. PT isn't complaining (strangely), but it destroys the stats.

It does not include that raise in the calculations of money won, so every pot you win that you raised PF, PT is giving you too much credit. (That doesn't seem like enough for how big my overstatement is, though; something else might be going on.) Also, this explains why your pre-flop stats are ?/0 where ? is abnormally small. It is actually the number of times you limped / zero.

There is nothing wrong money-wise on site, as near as I can tell.

The problem isn't even just with preflop ... anytime you raise (or anyone else raises for that matter) it is not recorded in the hand history.

I stopped playing there for the night. Figured no reason if i couldn't import my play and especially cause the UltimatePoints weren't being awarded properly, so I can't even earn them towards the points for cash promo.

i bet ub changed the way they calculate ultimate points overnight. big difference between yesterday and today.

My history from a SnG I just busted out in was messed up, so at 2330 EDT things were still hosed.

On the software updates page at the UB website, it looks like they're gearing up for an update tomorrow (25-Apr); I wonder if the messed up HH's were due to prep they were doing behind the scenes for that.

I'd bet there's a good chance we'll all be able to get correct HH's eventually. If you've ever gotten some by e-mail before, they're in a different format than the ones you get from the HH window during play. Whatever the original source for the histories is has *got* to be be untainted, right?

I noticed some wierd things tonight too, including the points not being correct on all of the tables. There are right on some but not others.

I just played for about an hour and 15 minutes. When I finished, pokertracker had me winning about 450, which I know was wrong. On the other hand UB had me losing 700+, which I am almost positive is wrong too. As best I can tell I should have lost about 2-300 on the session.

I contacted UB and even though I haven't seen accurate hand histories yet, from a transaction history they sent me it appears that everything is fine in cashier department. I guess I play worse than I thought [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]. So just to clarify, it appears that none of my money is missing.

PT has me up over $10k and i'm really down $500-1k. going to have to purge this session from PT completely. now i'll just have to purposely lose about $500 to get my stats in order.

Has anyone gotten UB to update yet? I checked the FTP site that the updater searches to find the latest version, and it doesn't look like the new version is available yet, the website and e-mails notwithstanding. Maybe they're holding it back until the HH thing is fixed?

rakeback method change is definitely true.....

it's just my guess as well that they wont put out the update until HH issues are fixed

Rakeback has changed for sure. 10% MGR penalty for all U.S. players, just because they can, I guess. On top of that, they've changed their MGR model to contributed average. If you didn't put into the pot, you get no MGR.

Expect somewhere around a 40%-50% reduction in rakeback.

I knew that they switched to contributed, but where did you see that they're taking 10% off the top of MGR? Link please?

I've personally never believed the fact that our MGR is getting hit. I know that my MGR last month was my MGR-100% bonus and that's it.

This post says 10%, the other one says 20%....who to believe? I'd trust my own numbers more than anything (mine don't get updated daily). I guess I'll find out in May when payment comes.

10% seems to be what my affiliate is taking off my MGR before payment. The math works out. *shrug*

Don't want to hijack the thread, but there's a reason why UB's numbers continue to drop. They keep taking away reasons to play there.
