The second Q&A thread is becoming cumbersome, so please add your new questions, answers and comments to this third thread, if possible.

Mike O'Malley and other Party Executives will be monitoring the threads and will supply pertinent information as required.

Of course, this depends on the tone of the threads. If you ask reasonable questions and give reasonable criticisms, they will enter the threads more often. If there is name-calling and abuse, they'll stay out of them. It's up to you. Jim and I will be quite aggressive with editing and deleting posts to try to keep the threads as useful as possible for all of us.

Thank you for your support in this aim. It is much appreciated.

I noticed you reduced the number of tables available at the higher limits in some of the less well-known games like PLO8 and PLO.

Can you share more about why was this done, and will you consider adding those tables back?

Why does it have to open Internet Explorer? Can't it just go to the default browser?

Okay, I was just playing 2/4 6-max on table Madcap, and the table disappeared!

I can't find it in the lobby!!!

It says my money is in play still, but I can't find or open the table. Looks like a bug.

I dont like the sidebet button showing on my screen. In previous versions, I just renamed the image file and it would dissapear. Now I just did this to the new version, and IT WILL NOT LOAD MY TABLES. I dont like the extra clutter. I guess I will need to make some 1x1 .jpg files.

Overall, I must say very well done. However, my only complaint is regarding observed hand histories not being written to the hard drive. Before you stated that hand histories were intended for only players at the table. I must say that there is certainly a positive correlation between players that import observed hand histories and also your best customers. I believe removing this option will strike a nerve with many of your loyal customers. It seems the only reason to do this was to prevent an edge to certain players and attempt to level the playing field. Please comment on any reasons Party Poker had regarding this issue.

Oh it will be a complete disaster if I have to click buttons multiple times before the software counts it. I won't be able to play 10 tables clicking each table 3 times. I will simply play somewhere else if that isn't fixed.

It's been said, but the buttons requiring up to 10 or so clicks needs to be fixed.

'Disldo' (5-10) is not a good name for a table.

It would have been nice to bring old player notes over, but no big deal really. Also, why'd you have to delete every image file in the old party poker folder (and sub folders)? I had things just the way I liked 'em.

Few other comments after playing about 100 hands.

- One of my tables disappeared and I can no longer find it. This is troublesome. Edit: Just found it. I was finally booted from the table and it looks like others were too. Definitely some weird bug you guys should look into. Again, it was "Madcap" a 2/4 6-max table.
- Buttons are horrible as others mentioned. Has anyone with TweakUI tested to see if there is an improvement? The buttons in their current state are seriously unplayable.
- How can we check our Acceler8or bonus? I assume under our Party Account when that finally goes live. Can Party confirm?
- Are we still going to be paid our first week of the Acceler8 bonus today as promised?

Dear Party,

PLEASE fix the buttons so that you only have to click them once to work. As a multi-tabler, I am already having pains in my mouse hand from clicking so many extra times in just over an hour of play.

I crashed twice - both times when my tables were resized to fit the screen. The buttons disappeared , and it would have call, fold, whatever, really big on whomever the action was on. The chips disappeared, so one time, I thought I was open raising when in fact I was three betting (a hand I would have preferred to muck to a raise). so all in all, with the two lockups (I was in the blind in 3 different games), plus the ill-advised 3 bet, the mini talbles cost me 3 big bets.

I shut down and restarted after the first time and tried to make the tables small again, but the same thing - so I just played at regular size the third time I logged in.

The constant clicking on the action button is a pain - especially multitabling.

Other than that, it looks nice. The interface is much better at allowing aces to hold in big pots [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img], but they need to work on helping my flush draws come in [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

Nono, unless you deleted them they should still be in the old party folder. You can copy them to the new folder, I just hope they kept the format the same.

How about being able to show -everything except- certain filter options. Right now, if you choose "Shootout", for example, it removes everything Shootouts, so you only see Shootouts on your list. How about a button to -remove- Shootouts from the list (or rebuys, non-holdem games, etc).

Also, a distinction between NL Holdem and Holdem would be good.

The guy saying to install TweakUI was correct, my buttons are working perfectly now.

Didn't even require any configurating. It looks like it's the 'prevent other windows from stealing focus' setting that does the trick.

Is it that hard for them to make a "partypoker store" button ????? Like [censored] I gotta go through all these different tabs and I still haven't found it :@ Wow I only put 1 swear word in there that's odd because I got 100 going around in my head and coming out of my mouth right now :@

fwiw - i logged out of party and logged back in and it downloaded some more files onto my computer when i logged back in. (this is after it did the initial update an hour ago.)

so it sounds like theyre running the updates in batches or just popping in the new things as they put them up.
