Almost killed by a deer...

Beat: I only won $110 at the casino in one of the softest games ever because I got nothing to work with...

Brag: On the way home, doing 75 miles per hour at 5 am while tired, I noticed a deer running across the interstate at the last possible second and swerved into the left lane to miss the deer by about a foot. I then started fishtailing but somehow managed to keep the car on the road. I obviously have the best reflexes and driving skills ever.

Variance: I would have fallen asleep easily when I got home, but now my adrenaline is pumping.

Your adrenaline is pumping for a reason. Go back and kick that deer's ass!

.30-06 ftw. Deer tastes good. You're at the top of the food chain for a reason. Don't let that sucker pwn you.

And then you woke up in a puddle of saliva realizing that it was all just a dream.

I hit a deer a couple years going 40 mph. Hit him right on the license plate, it was kinda like hitting a baseball on the "sweet spot" of a bat. That [censored] went flying sooo far it didnt even look real. Also, there was no damage done to my car (2001 chevy lumina).

FWIW, correct play is to lift foot from the gas, then swerve.

It's a standard exercise for all police drivers. Reasoning behind it is that when you lift your foot from the gas, weight shifts to front wheels to give you better steering grip. They call it the "lift and shift" or something like that, and train for it all the time.
