An Ethics Question:

Your Friend is a total loser. You staked him in a poker game in return for a chance to take his gorgeous girlfriend along on your next visit to a casino.
Well the girl is so hot. You bought her a seat at the tourney. Though you both busted out early, you went for a meal and decided to stay in the city for the night.

Anyway its a few weeks on and the guy has lost his Job, he claims he hurt is back, has decided to claim welfare, and the Girl has decided she wants you, not him.

Your friend is so depressed at the moment your a little worried about what he might do to himself if you take his girl. He's even talked about killing himself.

On the other hand this girl is really hot.....

I hate to break it to you, but YOU are the loser here, not your friend.

Reasons:

- You´re staking your friend in a poker game, so that you are allowed to take his girl to the casino

- You let the girl scam you for even more money, just because she´s "hot" in your eyes

- You´re considering to sleep with the girl of your friend

- You feel the need to make a post in a public forum asking wether sleeping with the girl of a friend who trusts in you is ethical or not, while the answer is completely obvious

- You´re making this post in the wrong forum

I'm a very selfish person and only care about my own interests.

So, if you help your friend all that will happen is some boring life story about sticking by your friends. On the other hand if you steal his gf, then all sorts of drama can ensue. That would generate entertaining drama posts and possibly NFSW pics of the chick in OOT.

I vote for stealing his chick since I only care about by own entertainment.

In situations like these, as awful as it sounds, I usually vote to steal the girl. This is only if you think something really amazing could develop though, and not just about her being hot.

The reason I think this is because I met my bf through an ex-bf and it was really scandalous and friendship-ending that we got together. However, this is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Life is short - you have to make yourself happy.

Any guy who would let another guy take his girlfriend with him on what was essentially a date in exchange for money to gamble with is, as you aptly put it, a loser. Which calls into question what you are if you consider him a friend of yours. But that's another conversation.

To answer your question, yes, you should take the girl. He obviously cares more about gambling money than about her, so you might as well relieve him of the responsibility.
