First of all for the mods, if this counts as soliciting please take it down. I havn't been able to get a straight answer out of people if this is allowed or not, so sorry if its not.

Anyway, the poker site bugseysclub has given me my own deepstacked bounty tournament on Saturdays, which you can read about here:

If you guys don't have anything going on saturday or can afford to play another table it'd be cool if you could help me get the numbers up (it gets like 75 guys right now.) Its 30+3 buy in and I'm able to do transfers on bugseys for those interested so you don't have to deposit.

Whether i get the numbers up will help determine if Bugseys would like to continue promoting me in other venues, so any help is appreciated.

As far as rakeback, but i can certainly look into it.

The tournament has a 25k start bank, so it'll make for some good play.

The Bugsy tournaments have a very nice feel and small field size.

All there other tournaments are 10K in chips (which I prefer), and have blind structures similar to the WSOPC events. Probably the most realistic online structure.

Bugsy is a great site if:

1) you are a small stakes player
2) you want to play small field size
3) you want to make alot of FT (practice)
4) you like deep stacks

They do not have enough games to play exclusively, but they have some nice tournaments.

Y, I don't know anything about rakeback, but I doubt u'll ever play enough Bugsysclub to make it worthwhile.

They also have a $10rebuy that has a double add on. It plays a little weird because a double rebuy and double add on gives u 50XBB at the break.

In general the fast structure (big antes) and deep stack play very differently than most online tournaments.

i am going to have to check out the site. dont think i can make it this saturday but it is an every saturday thing then i'm all-in first hand if i'm at your table bond. nothing like shoving 400+bbs first hand. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Wow.. in the early stages, that bounty should change [censored] so much. If you were playing with competent players who realize this, you should probably be open shoving a lot of your good hands regardless of stack sizes.

I mean.. if you shove KK first hand face up and I'm a break-even player on the BB with A2o, I'm 28% to win $100 straight and like $33 more in equity and 72% to lose $33 in equity, so I earn almost $14 by calling--which is sick for a $33 buy-in.

i like this post. therefore it should stay. i dont think there are enough 2p2 tournaments by a longshot. i know its -ev to play all "good" players. but its fun, and fun is +ev.

My backer got it set up for me as he's well connected in the business side of the online poker world.

Hard to say how long any of us can hope to have any kind of sponsership in the US though, UB and absolute just dumped their teams of pros.

Yes, but it doesn't take as long as you would think with that starting stack as the structure is fairly quick.
