Anyone know how busy the slot machine floor is on weekend (for girlfriend)? They only have 1900.. I've never walked past the poker room the times I've been there.. Is it crowded on Saturdays?

Both casinos (Seneca Niagara and Allegany) are usually packed on Friday nights-Sunday. Get there early Saturday if crowds aren't your thing...

For Allegany... So worse than any random night at an Atlantic City casino?

It'll probably be a 9am-6pm stay.

Have they gotten any tables bigger than 3/6 LHE yet?

Re: Seneca Allegany, Sat 2/18 Call

They had a 4-8 starting up the last time I was there.(didn't get to it, was about to leave). They've said they'll run a 5-10, 6-12 if there's enough interest for it. But they HAVE had 4-8's going before.

Well I made there (and am back already).

Only stayed for about 5 hours.. but cleared over $200 at the INCREDIBLY soft 1-2 no limit game.

Anyone else there on Saturday?

Re: Seneca Allegany, Sat 2/18 Call

No...was at the other Seneca casino...what a zoo... The lists for 1/2nl and 2/4lhe were as far as the board could fit... I think I will start a seperate thread about this, but its amazing how terrible the 1/2nl and 2/4limit games are there at the Seneca casinos for rake, yet they're the most popular... $3 off the flop on games where 75% of the time, all you see preflop is 2-3 limpers and the blinds... At least with the 2-5nl, and the 4-8 limit on up, you get pot sizes that warrent taking that $3, unlike the $8-10 average pot you see all the time on the lower limit games... Trust me, before you say how "soft" or "beatable" the 1/2 nl is there, the 2/5nl is no different whatsoever... I have had just as much success at 2/5 than I ever had playing 1/2nl.

Re: Seneca Allegany, Sat 2/18 Call

I believe you that the 2/5 games are just as easier.. Guys who were playing like complete douches were leaving our 1/2 for the 2/5.. I wasn't staked well enough on this trip for the 2/5 so I didn't bother following them.

I've yet to encountered a single "great" player at any of these gaems.. Every table has about 2 or 3 guys who play O.K. version of ABC poker (very predictable and beatable), and the rest are just clown college graduates, calling off their stacks with 2nd pair and other $hit.

Usually the games in AC have a couple very good player along with the donks, but not in either Seneca Casino. It really is an untapped goldmine if 1/2 NL and 2/5 NL are your thing.

Eh, The rake is the rake.. I think the poor quality of the opposition offset it, but yea, it's probably better off at the 2/5.. Maybe I'll eye that up next time.
