Re: Gavin Griffin Chip Leader with 8 left MONTE CARLO
Gavin was at my table on Day1b. After the first break, he was down to 12k or so after paying off some douchebags giant overbet (lol w/ Ace high I later found out), and Bill Chen walked up to him and they started talking.
Bill: "How you doing?" Gavin: "Ugh, you know that feeling, that this just isnt your tournament?" Good read Gavin. Nice meeting you Gavin, wish my flight didnt leave in a few hours, but i'll be watching on EPTlive. GLGLGL. |

Re: Gavin Griffin Chip Leader with 8 left MONTE CARLO
Hey guys. Thanks for all the support. I know I'm not on here much anymore, but it's good to know you guys are still rooting for me. I've been playing really well, not having been all in since I had 125k in chips early on day 3. I also went from 600k at the start of yesterday to 2.6 million at the end of the day without busting anyone. Oddly enough for me I have been on a steady climb the whole way through as opposed to my usual roller coaster ride. I'm hoping the final table goes pretty similarly besides the not busting anyone part.
|
Re: Gavin Griffin Chip Leader with 8 left MONTE CARLO
Good luck Gavin, I'll be down there at some point to root you on. I'm pretty sure Mark and Andy run like dogshit at final tables, so you'd have to donk this one pretty hard to lose.

Re: Gavin Griffin Chip Leader with 8 left MONTE CARLO

Re: Gavin Griffin Chip Leader with 8 left MONTE CARLO
In other news, I will be wearing a PokerStars.com logo because they have agreed to donate 15k to the Avon Walk for(against) Breast Cancer, which I will be participating in later this year. They have also set up a dummy PokerStars account that you can donate to. They will be matching these funds dollar for dollar. More details will follow on pokerstarsblog.com and eptlive.com. Once again, thanks for all of the support.

Re: Gavin Griffin Chip Leader with 8 left MONTE CARLO

I have you and Marc boxed for the exacta, but I think you got this one outright brah. |
